SMEP

Hi, just wanted to ask a quick question. When following the SMEP, how important is sex on the 3rd day after the positive OPK? I got a positive OPK on CD14 and had sex that day and day 15. Today is day 16 and not sure if it's going to happen. Does that affect our chance?

Funny enough, I'm in the exact same situation. So the theory behind SMEP is to have all your bases covered without overdoing the dtd, to not lose the fun part of the whole process and let it feel like a "to do". In the end, it only needs one sperm to fertilise an egg.
What I'm trying to say is, SMEP isn't a 100% guarantee to get pregnant but increases the chances. But it's not a science. Your chances are still very high, even though you will leave out one day. Fingers crossed for both of us xx

I'm currently on day 8 of my 6th cycle ttc! I'm also starting to track bbt and I'm also going to try the SMEP method!
Feeling exciting again waiting for ovulation!

Good luck for this month OP, hoping this is a good month for us all!

This is our 5th month TTC. I'm getting bloods this month due to spotting during my luteal phase. Hope everything comes back ok with these tests.
