I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks. I had to give birth to my daughter and then do a d&c. My period came a month later and I just went to the doctor for the 6 week follow up appt. I got the green light to try to conceive again if I wanted.
All of my tests and my daughters pathology report came back normal. I had bloodwork done this past appt to see if there were any issues, so I’m waiting on that but my doctor thinks most likely I had no issues. I kept telling her it must’ve been something my body did and she just said “these things just happen with no answers.”
I guess I wanted to ask if this has happened to anyone and if so were you able to conceive again and go on to have a successful pregnancy with no answers from the previous miscarriage? How did you handle this?
