TTC with HPV

Hi everyone

Just looking for some reassurance or advice

I have just received my smear results and have been told I have HPV and to be retested in one year.

I had a mmc in January, and am trying to conceive again currently.

I'm not panicking that the HPV could have caused the miscarriage, or could prevent me from conceiving.

Has anybody had HPV and had a successful pregnancy?

I'm currently in a world of worry!!

About a third of people have hpv at any time and almost everyone has it at some point in their lives according to my consultant. It's incredibly common so millions of women will have ttc with it. Sorry to hear about the mc.

I had HPV picked up in my smear and now I'm 5+2 (all okay and had early scan Monday & saw heart beat!) so although still early it seems to be going okay for now (and hopefully the remaining 7.5 months!) so it wasn't an issue for me x
