Evap line??

Hi, new here!

I took a clear blue ultra early test yesterday, showed negative in the time limit but when I came back to it later there is a thin but very blue line, is this an evap line?? Took another this morning, negative in time limit but 15 mins later I can see the same blue line as the other one!

Seen lots of conflicting things saying evap lines don't usually have colour, but these are definitely blue so just a bit muddled!

Thanks for all you help

Can you attach a photo at all? x

Squishydoo · 13/05/2021 11:20

I have a photo but it won't let me attach it, think because I haven't been a member long enough xx

how many dpo are you?
I would wait a few days and take a pink dye test. If it's outside the time window it could be a positive but the pink dye ones are a lot better.

Squishydoo · 13/05/2021 12:09

Not sure how many dpo I am, my cycle is all over and had unprotected sex a few times in last few weeks! Ive been nauseous about 4 days now, feels just like I was when I was pregnant with my son, but I found out later with him, wondered if I'd be more intune with it as had it before! So confusing!

@Squishydoo I’ve had same result from clear blue today, actually started thread asking same question. Very blue line on mine also but unsure if came up within the correct time frame, going to retest tomorrow

Squishydoo · 14/05/2021 14:19

I'm going to leave it a few days and test again incase it's just too early. Feeling really nauseous all the time at the moment and had a weird tightness feeling in my lower stomach for about a minute this morning, it's very odd!

@Squishydoo @Wackadoodle84 did either of you get a positive following these results?

Squishydoo · 20/05/2021 09:15

No negative for me, but still feeling awful, nausea is so bad today I thought I was going to be sick on the school run so no idea whats going on! I didnt find out til over 7 weeks with my son 10 years ago though so may just do another test next week and see! It's all very annoying!

@Squishydoo oh no, I hope you get a BFP soon. It's so frustrating not knowing for sure Confused

Bundaberg84 · 20/05/2021 09:29

Sorry to hear @Squishydoo. Not out until AF showed up, but yes I know it's especially nerve wrecking if you got something like a positive (even though it was after the time frame and is considered invalid) - got the hopes even higher!

Wackadoodle84 · 20/05/2021 09:32

@PositiveVibes89 AF arrived for me bang on time so definitely an evap line in my case, on to the next cycle 🤞

Squishydoo · 20/05/2021 09:46

Yeah it's the unknown driving me mad! I feel so sick most of the time, I had nausea really bad with my son all through the pregnancy, otherwise I probably wouldn't be so frustrated not knowing! Too much information but had a lot of what I assume is cervical mucus the last week too, a big snotty bit start of the week and enough yesterday that made me check AF hadn't started because that's what it felt like! Also had a weird pulling feeling in tummy last week so not sure now if maybe that was ovulation, feel so clueless! Who knew it would be this confusing and not as simple as just have sex and bam! Pregnant lol

@Squishydoo when is your AF due?

Squishydoo · 20/05/2021 10:11

I dont actually know, stopped the pill just over a month ago and had no bleeding at all. Read online some people can get pregnant straight away so also know if I was that lucky it would be still be early, and know this could just be side effects of coming off the pill. I just hate the unknown! And I'm not the sort of person who gets ill, it's very rare, so when I feel off I hate it!

Coming off the pill sucks. I know, some get pregnant straight away, so did one of my closest friends. But to be honest, for most women it takes a while until they start ovulating again and having regular cycles. If you want to TTC straight away, maybe think about tracking ovulation?

Flossy1982 · 07/06/2021 10:20

10dpo - views? It was just over the time frame as I initially just saw negative and walked away. I’m also having so brown spotting so just not sure what to think
