Late implantation?

Hi all
I’ve managed to fall down a google hole! I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago whilst ovulating and a day after my period was due I’ve had light bleeding for about 24 hours (still continuing) is this very late for implantation bleeding and if so should I be worried? Miscarriage etc? X

Correction - unprotected sex almost 2.5 weeks ago

Saw this and didn't want to read and run. I think the truth is that no-one knows. It could be late implantation, it could be bleeding from something else in the uterus unrelated.

If it is late implantation then there seems to be very little that can be done about it than to keep your fingers crossed that it works out ok.

Try and avoid Google and try and accept that worrying doesn't help (which is advice I can never follow but maybe others can 🤣).

Thank you! I’ve take a pregnancy test which is negative but I usually have quite a heavy period for first 2 days whereas I’ve still only had very light spotting - but I have cramps and a headache so not sure!

If you’ve had a negative test then unfortunately it’s very unlikely you are pregnant. You would expect a clear positive after AF is due. Good luck!
