Faint line but brown discharge. Help!

Good evening all,

My period is three days overdue so took a pregnancy test this afternoon and I think I have a faint line? (I am nipping out later for more tests so I can check again in the morning).

I am just slightly concerned as I have had some light, brown discharge for 6 days now. Nothing on my underwear but visible when I wipe (sorry if that is TMI).

Did anyone else have this but went on to have successful pregnancies? I have been ttc for a long time now and I don't want to get my hopes up if it is doomed to fail (easier said than done)!

@Velverosa I wouldn't worry too much as long as it doesn't turn red or get heavy. Some spotting is normal and in fact can be a sign of implantation which is good. Try not to drive yourself crazy with testing too much, maybe try in the morning with FMU. Fingers crossed for you

As @Cantthinkofaname99 said, some spotting isn't bad. So long as it doesn't get heavier or doesn't stop after a few days.

More brown discharge today but no heavier than before so trying not to worry. Don't really feel any pregnancy symptoms other than constant heartburn which I never normally get.

DH ended up buying ovulation tests rather than pregnancy tests so I will test tomorrow instead

Brown discharge is usually old blood so nothing to worry about. I had it when my AF was due last month and am nearly 13 weeks pregnant. Scan yesterday was perfectly fine.

I think it's like your body getting ready for a period but realises your pregnant so just cleans itself of what's leftover (hence the brown discharge).
