Indent or positive?

Been seeing a few comments about indents vs positives. For clarity we haven’t been trying, DH had an impulse moment a week before ovulation so thoughts are it’s unlikely but freaking out slightly

This is 7 days before my period is due too! I’ve always ovulated early / had pregnancy tests positives early

IMO that looks like a very early positive.

Evap for me. I did loads of those in Feb and got the same thing.

It looks grey to me, no colour?

To be honest I won't take it as a positive with frer as they are now full of indents..

@ReginaaPhalange thank you so much for the photo it’s looks very similar! Just brought some clear blue (which is what I have used in the past) and will test again in a few days.

@Horehound I think I can see a bit of colour but I’m not sure if my minds making it up 😬

@Coldties clear blue is probably your best bet now. Honestly no idea what's happened to the quality of frer

Everyone raves about frer and how rubbish blue dye tests are. I’ve never used a frer until now but i think I’m put off for life 🤣😂

Honestly they've gotten so bad in the last 4 months for me! Every one had an indent and it got my hopes up!

I've never had any issues with the clear blue early detection tests.

Also 7 days before AF is very early to test. I would suggest to wait for another 2-3 days before retesting. If you can ;)

All pregnancy tests have got crap the last few years, I had so many evaps and lines that never turned into anything it was untrue. I think at 7 days before your period that's probably an evap you have there.

Definitely positive! I know 7 days is early but I ovulate early so have always got positive pregnancy tests very early and when I have had a 12 week scan I get moved forward.

I’m not sure how to feel, I was actively trying for my DC before this. I feel quite numb and just cried.

That's bad though that the frer indents resemble positive results (as posted in my pic above)

I've ordered some of those clear blue tests for when I test lol.

How many dpo are you??

Sorry I am maybe misunderstanding...do you already have children?
Then you did try then agreed to stop trying?

Maybe you need a sit down and proper discussion with your DH x

@ReginaaPhalange my period is due next Tuesday so I think about 9dpo but I think ovulate early so not sure

@Horehound yes you are right we have 2DC and had talked about a third but not decided and was going to wait another year. It’s been a bit of a surprise and I am a bit overwhelmed

I can imagine.
Take it easy, deffo discuss with DH and just take it one day at a time. You have time to decide what you want to do. X

Congratulations, im 7 weeks with my 3rd DC and just wanted to stop and say the overwhelming feeling is the exact same for me and we were actively trying. I think its quite normal to feel a bit "ahhhh" to start with however much the baby is wanted 🥰 take care of yourself and speak with DH xxx
