Faint line while on period

Hello everyone.

I need a little help / insight perhaps anyone been in the same boat before and ended up in some positive stories? 😅

I was on period day 4 yesterday, and I felt sudden nauseous in the afternoon til evening. Along with that, I also felt dizziness, sleepyhead and tired. Out of curiosity, I tested with cheapie and I thought I saw a very faint line on it. But I really needed to squint harder to see it.

So, I managed to get a CB test today because I just needed some reassurance. I tested in the afternoon and immediately took a pic of the CB test while the dye is running and settling.

Feel like I m seeing a visible + there? 🤔

I m also attaching second pic - when the cb test finally settled in. 😅

Any thoughts / perhaps similar experiences anyone? 🥺

I can see a faint like in the 2nd picture although not in the 1st, I'd say give it a few days and test again.

I can see a line! Was your bleeding light? It could be implantation rather than a period.
Could you get a digital test to check? There's no doubt then!

I see a faint line - looks positive too me. Was af due or early? It may be implantation bleeding but 4 days of bleeding is a lot. If it's heavy you should probably can your gp for advice.

That’s so faint but I think I see it

Looks positive to me but there’s 2 situations:

1. you where pregnant and your period is an early miscarriage as the hormones stay around for a while

2. you are pregnant and it’s progressing, it’s implantation bleeding or you might be spotting but still pregnant

Definitely need to test in a few days and maybe even a week later to see if the line gets any darker

@NeedCoffeeToSurvive I m planning to retest in a day or two. Might be the CB test that is just faulty? 😅

@JJ94 I got my period normally I would say, but day 3 it was all gone and day 4 it was light too. I m tempted to do digital too, and see if I can grab one today/tomorrow. Thanks x

@L1ttleb1t my period was due on clock. 😅 Its kinda worrying, I didnt really expect for the CB to show faint positive immediately after dipping it in urine since my cheapie shown almost invisible line? 😅

@Coldties thanks for the thoughts! I m thinking about the possibilities too.. but I tested negative before my period (poas) 😂 and iff I m really pregnant and it showing faint, I m afraid of the worst too. Ectopic they call it 😟

@RizzleRazzle Dipped the test in urine, laid it flat on the sink then immediately grabbed my phone and took a pic of it as I saw a visible + sign while the dye is going across.

For the 2nd picture, I couldnt really remember the time frame. Prolly about 10-15 mins 😅

Both results are technically not valid as the first pic was taken immediately and you're meant to wait 2 minutes for these tests and any result after 10 minutes is not valid either so I would test again in a day or two, maybe with a FRER and read it within the time frame.

Got it confirmed today. The CB previous day was just a false alarm. Wish me luck for my upcoming O-day and TWW. Hopefully I ll be back on this thread with real BFP to share!
