Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help me, I'm 39 nearly 40, I have a 6 year old daughter and am trying for a second for 2 years. I've had my progesterone levels check 7 days before period and came out as 21nmol, I'm still waiting to have the 2nd day test as not come on yet. The doctor has recorded this as normal range but everywhere I've looked it said it should be over 30. Is this true? Should I confront the doctor about this.

Yes your reading is correct - at the very least he should re-run the test next cycle to confirm the accuracy of the reading.

So why does it say it should be over 30 to be ovulating?

Hi. Hope you don't mind if I jump on here. I just received my day 21 results and my progesterone was 92.7. I was thinking that was abnormally high and the doctor receptionist said it was normal. I'm confused.
