Hi all,

I'm sorry if I'm asking silly questions. I'm still fairly new to the world of TTC. This will be my 3rd full month of TTC.

Basically, I'm still trying to work out my cycles. They're not 100% regular and even less so this month. I apparently ovulated 4 days later than last month, so I'm about 9dpo today. According to last months cycle, I should also be due AF today.

If I ovulated late, does that mean AF will be late too and shouldn't class today as the start of a missed period? I haven't had any AF symptoms and just really confused by it all. Again, sorry if this is obvious.

Yes, your period will be due at around 14dpo (this varies for everyone but that's the average).

If you're pretty sure of ovulation and you caught it DTD, 14dpo is what you're waiting for Smile

The luteal phase is a fairly constant length so if you ovulated late then it’s likely to be a longer cycle. Are you tracking O using OPKs?

@katewitch @Hopefulhedgehog Hi! Thank you both for replying.

I tracking my ovulation using the Clearblue advanced kit (the one with the annoying flashing smile) and I think this month I was flashing for a good 8-9 days. So according to that, I had my peak 4 days late.

I guess time will tell! Thanks for the insight. As I said, still trying to learn my cycle and just needed someone else's opinion Smile
