Positive test and implantation bleeding?

TTC for 6 months for #2. I started bleeding on day 26 of my cycle which is normal for me, but it's been v light, much lighter than usual. I've taken a FRER tonight and got a really strong positive. Is my bleeding implantation or a chemical? Has anyone else had this?

It's really hard to say it could be either (or some bleed with no cause and everything is fine)

I'd monitor the bleeding and if it gets heavier speak to your dr and if you test again in a couple of days the line should get darker but if it gets lighter then it's most likely a chemical

Thanks for reply, I think I'm going to follow your advice and test again once the bleeding has stopped (fingers crossed). I did test again this morning and got another positive but don't want to get obsessed with poas!

Congratulations!!!!!
By bleeding, do you mean light spotting or actual heavy bleeding?
Also, chemicals don't have strong lines, so you're definitely pregnant. Hopefully the bleeding isn't strong and is an implantation bleeding. 🤞🤞🤞

It's only when I wipe so not heavy bleeding but more than spotting if that makes sense? Still going today...going to wait a few more days and take another test. The strong lines are giving me hope - plus it was an evening test!

I woke up today with heavy bleeding, cramps and a stabbing pain in my stomach, along with a now negative test. @peaches1991

@mummabeth I did a clear blue and frer on Friday morning and they were both positive - clear blue said 2-3 weeks and my frer was stronger than last week. Spoke to my GP as well and she said to test again next Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed that it was implantation bleeding and has all settled down now.

Hey @peaches1991, I’m in the same situation, it’s nice to know I’m not alone. I’m 9 DPO and getting some light spotting just on loo paper today and Friday. Oddly it stopped yesterday and appeared again today. I had some mild cramps on Friday but nothing since then. AF not due for 4-5 days yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s implantation bleeding but trying to hold off testing!
Have you had any other symptoms at all? I keep getting waves of nausea and think my sense of smell has heightened but both could be my mind playing tricks Confused

@aspiring2021 sorry to hear you're going through the same. I didn't test until 13dpo when I'd already been bleeding for two days - I don't really know why I did it, the only weird symptom I had was sudden mood swings (I burst in to tears in the middle of M&S...). 21dpo and still no other symptoms really. If you're 9dpo you might see something on a FRER if you are positive? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Sorry to highjack this post I know it's old. But I need advice and in similar situation.
I haven't tested yet, but since coming off the pill my cycles have been 26 days. This time however I'm on day 3 of 'period' but still hasn't gotten heavy, only pink/light red blood when I wipe. Occasional cm with no blood at all. Could it be implantation bleeding for this long?
I've had 2 children already and never experienced this.
