Crosshairs on ff before ovulation

I have been temping and got a crosshair for 4 days ago when I’d just finished my period. I always know when I ovulate as I get a pinch in the ovary and lots of ewcm. I haven’t had this yet and would be expecting to ovulate on Tuesday. I was very hot over the past few days, possibly a cold which I know can affect the reading. But has anyone else had this and it turned out to be wrong? I am worried I have missed my chances this month as it’s rare for me to ovulate every month and I haven’t bd yet this cycle. My temp was only slightly higher than the previous days temps this cycle, but as it stayed up (dropped today) it is showing ovulation happened. I’m still having the creamy cm that I get before ovulation. Any positive stories?

Could you post a copy of your chart? I think keep going and it will adjust later on, maybe the fever has confused it. Do you use OPKs as well?
