So my baby was born last September, abs been exclusively breast fed on demand but I got my periods back in January and they have been on the 6th / 7th ever since. My husband and I have been trying since January for number two as I am 36 already and we’ve had no luck so far. I know it’s still early but Guess my question would be whilst breastfeeding can hold off periods, can it also stop you getting pregnant when you’re periods have actually restarted and you’re ovulating again? (I’ve tracked ovulation and I’m ovulating according to the sticks around day 19 on a 30/31 day cycle...)

Any ideas?!

Can you try temping, the sticks only pick up the hormone that may lead to and egg being released, I think temping can confirm it actually happened

No you should be fine I think. At your age the average time is 8-9 months though so don't worry if it's taking a little bit longer than you thought!
