Anyone ever tried ebay pregnancy testing strips?

I have a faint second line which indicates a positive. The line is no where near as strong as the control line. AF due yesterday so I would have expected a stronger test line. What do you think? Desperately trying not to get my hopes up. This is my 6th cycle of trying after mc in April. Any thoughts?

I have used many Ebay tests which have all been fine apart from some Acon ones which had a nasty evaporation line. Perhaps get a Clearblue Digital tomorrow? Good luck and sorry to hear about your MC-have sadly been there myself but now have DD2.

when i fell pregnant line was very faint but definatly there i done again next day and was stronger first wee of the day

can be false negatives but rarely a false positive and they can be faint i held mine up to light and could see it was definatly there

Well I've re tested this morning and another faint second line but I am still not convinced that it isn't just an evaporation line as it is so faint. And I have felt as though AF has been looming since wk end. If AF doesn't appear today shall get a digital one.

THe same happened to me, I got 2 faint lines on cheap ebay tests, on the day AF was due and the day after, like you I wasn't sure so I got a Clear Blue digital to check - I'm now 11 weeks pregnant!!

Oooh I really do hope the same goes for me as it did for you.

I tested on Monday (day before Af due) and threw the test away as convinced it was negative.

The tests say to read result after five minutes. Yesterday and this morning the second line eventually appeared by the five minute test time, but like I say so so faint it is hardly convincing. Suppose it is still early days to get a strong positive result.

Anyway, hopefully a digital test will confirm a positive (everything crossed).

I am getting a very very faint line on internet cheapy stripes, not due till Sunday, so hoping my line will get darker as the days go by.

Sorry for the delay in replying. No access to mumsnet at work and not long been home from nieces birthday party.

I am unsure what make the test is HC. It just says Wondfo One-Step Ultra Early 10mlU Pregnancy hcg Test Strip.

I got them from babymad.com and they definitely work because a clearblue digital has confirmed a positive result today!!!

So the very faint line was a positive result and not an evaporation line like I thought.

Keeping everything crossed now that this is a sticky one.

I brought some cheapo ebay ones, first line was so faint I threw test away, next time could sort of see from squinting if it was in the right light, gradually they got stronger and am now 23 weeks pregnant.

I did buy a Asda one (or three) as well just to make sure, hop everything goes ok.

Going to buy a posh expensive test (or three) today myself.

Dont think the cheapy ebay test show a good dark line till at least 18dpo
