4dpo any one want to join??

Hey everyone so this is my third cycle ttc again, I'm so impatient and these cycles can be so lonely sometimes so wondered if any one wanted some company this TWW.

Just abit of back story. Im 22 from Kent. I have a 2yo girl and have had a few chemicals and miscarriages since having my little girl.
I'm also a poas addict so faint lines more then welcome here tooo!! X

The 2ww is a killer!!!

I got a dark opk last night too! So that’s two days in a row. So going to dtd tonight and tomorrow to cover bases. So basically done a whole week since Sunday. Fingers crossed I get one lucky swimmer lol

When would 1dpo be? In your opinion?

@pairofpears omg I know... How is it not 10dpo yet?! It takes forever. I'm still peeing on OPKs just to allow me to pee on something.. I tell myself it's so I can check for a second surge which I've heard people talk about.. but really... I don't think I can wee normally anymore without going to pick up my pee glass.. It's become second nature.
When will you start taking tests? Will you hold out?

@Poppet2021 if you've had your darkest OPK then you should ovulated within 12-36 hours.. So if you get your darkest OPK today, I'd say you would likely ovulate tomorrow then 1DPO on Sunday.
Apparently you can get several positive OPKs in a row and you take your darkest as your peak and that's when you will likely ovulate after that.
Keep in mind I'm no expert! I've just been obsessively reading all these blogs etc 😂😂

@Poppet2021 I wonder what it means to get more than one peak - I was doing two opks a day and only got one dark one! Straight back to light that evening. Maybe you’re firing more than one egg out... I agree with Sara, do another today, check which is darkest and assume you ovulated the day after.

@SaraSS oh that made me laugh, I know exactly what you mean! What with opks, pregnancy tests and lateral flow tests I’ve seen enough pink lines and bodily fluids to last a LIFETIME 😂

Got three dark opks on wed and darker last night. Will check again tonight. And see. Then depending on tonight. Will assume yday was peak. Dtd tonight and tomorrow. Then leave the rest to fate... and hope a week of dtd will work out for us!

I don't think I could dtd every day 😂 every other day max!! Ha ha
I'm good... trying not to go stir crazy. According to countdowntopregnancy.com there is a 3.6% chance of a BFP on 6DPO.. So I'm totally testing at 6dpo (sunday) .. I fully expect a BFN though 😂

@SaraSS @Poppet2021 @PairOfPears hope everyone is well I am 4DPO today and so far I haven't had the urge to test but still very early! I think also because this month our garden renovation is starting and I have started with a Personal trainer to shift some of this lockdown gain, I feel keeping busy is helping! But we shall see when I start to creep to 6DPO 🤣

@Poppet2021i have had exactly the same thought! How lovely it would be to tell OH on Father's Day! Even been planning how I would do it 🤣🤣🤣 I think that's why I like MN cause you realise your obsessions with thinking forward and planning is totally normal when TTC 🤣🤣

@SaraSS I would be terrified to test at 6dpo... surely a positive result at that point is going to be multiples 😰

I’ve one app saying AF due on 17th and one saying 21st so there’s a chance I’ll know by Father’s Day! I really hope we all get the good news before then ☺️☺️☺️

No symptoms for me and like you @SaraSS I'm seeing it as a positive not noticing everything and thinking 'what if...'

No symptoms here either, 5dpo today! Still feels like such a long bloody time until we can test 😭

Oh that's a good thing keeping busy! I've been working today so that kept my mind busy ☺ no symptoms, and I'm trying not to think too much into it if I do. I had symptoms last cycle and it was just AF on it's way.. so I guess the less symptoms the better!

@SaraSS same. I think symptom spotting can drive you crazy!!! I’m going to focus on other things and keep myself occupied. And hopefully 2ww will fly by!!
Hope you are also getting to enjoy the sunny weather (assuming you are in the uk)

Yes I am in the UK! I work in what is effectively a big windowless tin so no sunshine today but day off tomorrow so hopefully then 🤞
A little update: I'm getting stronger OPKs - not quite positive, but fairly dark.. I know some people have a LH surge before AF, so could be that??
I know I ovulated because I'm checking temps too.

I’m not clued up on LH surge and opks after ovulation.
I only know a little about when testing to dtd lol
I did check my cervix though. I was super high just before ovulation and super low just after or during!
Apparently if pregnant it’s high. But some ppl say it’s not the most accurate thing to go by.

That sounds positive @SaraSS I have heard many people say they get a strong peak and turns to be a positive though!

I had a sharp stabbing pain lastnight lasted on and off for about 20 mins was in the middle of my stomach right at the bottom, I don't think I've ever had this before but also I really am trying to not symptom spot would like to wait until Saturday to test 😖

The time is slowly moving on, 8DPO now! So glad I did opks this month as I would have been thinking I was about 12DPO and furiously testing and getting worked up!

Im feeling super emotional today, not sure if that’s a symptom 😂

Hi, how's everyone doing?
9DPO today, still BFNs and I even gave up and did an afternoon test today 🤔😂 I have no will power!
My OPK dipped yesterday to virtually nothing, and has gone back up today to another "not quite positive" but strong test line... temps dipped yesterday too by 0.2 but back up again this morning so 🤞
Of course, it could all just be nothing lol
Anyone else testing yet?
