4dpo any one want to join??

Hey everyone so this is my third cycle ttc again, I'm so impatient and these cycles can be so lonely sometimes so wondered if any one wanted some company this TWW.

Just abit of back story. Im 22 from Kent. I have a 2yo girl and have had a few chemicals and miscarriages since having my little girl.
I'm also a poas addict so faint lines more then welcome here tooo!! X

I’m due to ovulate in next couple days. Been dtd every day since Sunday. And play to carry on until Friday. And then just hope for the best!

Hi ladies, I peaked on OPKs on Sunday too which was CD14 for me. Although I've not seen a temp rise yet so possibly DPO1 today although I'm not 100%
This is cycle 2 for me of ttc so early days yet! The TTW last cycle was soooo long 😣 hoping it doesn't drive me a crazy this time!

@PairOfPears we are also doing SMEP this month! Last month was my first month doing SMEP and didn't ovulate till day 29!! So glad I ovulated as I normally do this cycle!! But me also I am over it haha! I think sitting in the sun all day after work tires us both out 🤣

@SaraSS we should all be expecting them BFP around the same time then 😬 this is my first month temping and I have forgot so many days 🤣 I know it's so hard to not go crazy in the 2WW! I've got a get away with the OH at the end of the 2WW so hoping that will make it go a little quicker! I have to also @ and then the same, I'm unsure how to reply directly to a comment haha

@purpleskyssssss we tried SMEP last month. This month we were planning too but things got hectic and we didn’t. So we started dtd CD13 and will try dtd for the next week or so. Fingers crossed for all the ladies in the 2ww !

@purpleskyssssss so did you do it every other day from CD8 to 29?! My god 🤣

We will all be counting down together then, bring on the symptom spotting...!

@PairOfPears yess!! 😳 and the worst was I thought my peak came at CD 25 did the 3 days... & lo and behold the true peak came on CD 29... We actually ended up missing peak day because was knackered 🤣🤣

Got a dark opk today.... so I guess tomorrow is ovulation day? I get confused by the meaning of it. Does ovulation actually occurs the next day? So 1dpo would be on Friday? Or would it be tomorrow? I get super confused

I'm always ok at this stage! It's when 6DPO and so on starts creeping up and then symptom spotting here I come 😫 really going to try and not this month!

@Poppet2021i got my peak ovulation on Sunday - my app puts Monday as ov day and then Tuesday 1DPO and today 2PO - so Friday would be 1DPO - I think some people do ov on the same day but mostly it's the day after

@Poppet2021 sorry meant Friday for you would be 1DPO if got your peak today :)

@purpleskyssssss Ahh ok I get you!! So my 1dpo will be Friday. So prob best to dtd tomorrow and Friday?

@Poppet2021 yeah as much as you can for the next few days I reckon!

On SMEP it recommends three days in a row as soon as you get the peak reading x

@PairOfPears we tried SMEP last month. This month is month 3 of trying and we’ve been dtd since Sunday. Prob go until Friday/Saturday. It’s tiring in this heat haha

@Poppet2021 Yes the heat is a killer isn’t it 😂 Not sure really, been a bit under the weather so missed the third day in a row and not sure if we’ll get chance to do the last one today but we’ll see!

Has anyone else had their Covid jab while ttc? I’ve had mine this cycle, seen stories of it affecting periods so hopefully that doesn’t happen.

@poppet2021 yeah usually ovulation is the next day, although sometimes you can get positive OPKS for a few days on the run, in that case it would be your darkest as your 'peak' and ovulation will be 12-48 hrs later. Do you temperature check? I find that helps as you see a rise in temp after ovulating so at least I have a better idea of when it happened! It's such a lot to learn isn't It? I had no idea about all this until last month when we started ttc seriously.

@pairofpears yes I had my Covid vaccination on 7th, and I'm about 3dpo today. I didn't see any unexpected changes in ovulation timing or temperature checking so hopefully it's not impacted my cycle 🤞

Is anybody 8DPO? I am and feeling so dizzy today with a headache and my nipples are puffy and fat (haha). Slight nausea and just feeling very tired. Should I test or should I wait?

@SaraSS that’s great to know, thanks! I did have mine after I think I ovulated so hopefully shouldn’t affect my cycle!

All sounds promising @babyboybluex ! Personally I’m determined to wait this month til at least 10dpo, I really wound myself up last month!

No I don’t temp check! I have hard enough time keeping to the opks lol
But if today is lighter then I’ll know I’ll ovulate today. So tomorrow be 1dpo.
Think I’ll dtd tonight and tomorrow. Then I’m done. It’s so tiring lol

I had my second jab at the end of last month and ovulation came at normal time and period was normal and from what I can remember was the same after my first one!

@babyboybluex all very good signs!! It's so hard to resist but I am really going to try this month! I think it depends if you will get upset if you do see a negative as testing early it you are it may not show! But if your a POAS addict like me then it is super hard!! I feel it's all I think about until I do test 😅
