4dpo any one want to join??

Hey everyone so this is my third cycle ttc again, I'm so impatient and these cycles can be so lonely sometimes so wondered if any one wanted some company this TWW.

Just abit of back story. Im 22 from Kent. I have a 2yo girl and have had a few chemicals and miscarriages since having my little girl.
I'm also a poas addict so faint lines more then welcome here tooo!! X

To all the other ladies I know I'm not in this months TWW anymore but I feel like you ladies would know and were the best to ask.
My app says I'm due to ovulate next Thursday, so to up my chances, which day (other than obvs ovulation day) should I BD ? Leading up to it. Xx

@Rowboatsmummy still early days for you. Wishing you lots of luck and baby dust..your husband must have whole house stress cleaned by now lol

@ChillyBon95 check out the smep method have you heard of it? It tells you when to do the deed. I think getting as much sperm in there before you even ovulate is key..so they just hanging about waiting to pounce.

Sorry to hear you are out on your 2ww.
So this month was my second month ttc#2.
I went with the SMEP (sperm meets egg plan). Where you start dtd every other day from CD8 (ie CD8, CD10 etc...) until your opk is positive. From that day dtd 3 days in a row, miss a day then dtd once more.
Start doing opks from CD10.

I’m 8dpo so am going to wait to test until the weekend. Fingers and toes crossed.

@Rugratree - great minds! I used SMEP this month. Fingers crossed it’s worked. But I started dtd CD9, CD11, then CD15-18 and CD20 (hubby wasn’t well around CD13. I ovulated on CD16. So hopefully covered my bases.

@Rugratree Oo thank you! Ive never heard of it but @Poppet2021 just did a lovely job of explaining! Thank you so much that's really very helpful! I'm unsure about opks I tried them last cycle, how're you ever meant to know if it's fully positive?! I got so confused because do you just have to guess with the darkness? Or what if one day you think it's your peak day and then next day it's even darker 😱 this kind of stuff makes me so anxious! Xx

So I just bought opks from Amazon. I used the mommed ones Early Pregnancy Tests & Ovulation Test Kit, 15 x One Step Pregnancy Test & 40 x Ovulation kit with 55 Urine Cups, Reliable & Quick Early Pregnancy Tests
These ovulation sticks worked super for me this time and would recommend.
I tested everyday from
Cd10. And initially saw vvvvvvvvfl. Then around cd15 got a little darker and CD16... bam! Super dark line. Even CD17 was super dark.
In the pack there is an ovulation tracking sheet. So I stuck them all on there so could see the positive. The positive is when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line.
I tested on CD18/19 just to see the vvvvvvvvfl lines again. It just confirmed the positive if that makes sense

It happened to me. I got positive on CD16 and CD17. But as you dtd on positive day plus the next three nights. You can always add on another dtd day. Which I did. And then missed a day and did it again. Hope that makes sense

I also used preseed. A fertility lubricant.

Ah it is early days but Im not very hopeful. My cycle is so irregular. In ways kind of just wish af would appear so I can see where I am at. We aren't trying anyway but I got my wee hopes up..not sure DH would commit to actually trying for another one. He is very "happy with what we have, if it was to happen its another story.." so obv Ive put 2 and 2 together and decided we def need a 3rd 👀

How are we all today? AF is due and it’s not arrived (yet).

No tests in the house so going to get some over lunch and see. I think some of you are also due on today?

AF has arrived today, bang on time. All of the faint lines I've got this month were clearly evaps so I'll be ditching that batch of cheap strip tests before next time!

@GlowUp sorry you’re on af hun, mine was due today and has properly started full flow vengeance time- lots of evaps too I don’t think I’ll trust those strips again but in a way I’m pleased it’s here so I can just get on to next month.

I just went to the toilet and wiped a bit of blood so guess who is out? Meeeeee! I've got all of my period symptoms - cramps, bloating and increased hunger

@GlowUp sorry to hear about AF. Indents and evap are the absolute bloody worst. I have no sign yet of AF, although only approx 10dpo. I don't even want ro test today and have to go through the whole squinting, convincing myself and then dissapointment!

I'm 5dpo today, so far I'm calm and collected. And I won't test until my fertility monitor tells me to.

I crumbled did a test this morning at 10DPO on a cheapie (even tho I planned to wait till Friday) and it was a BFN, I am getting some cramping but I do normally get this before AF shows her face so trying to stay positive but not feeling too hopeful

@babyboybluex sorry to hear that AF showed her face! Hope your not feeling too bad!

So I would have expected AF to have kick started by now but I've gone to the toilet and there's nothing, not even a spec of blood when I wipe.

Do you think it's worth taking a test?

I'll keep an eye on things as it could very easily start soon...

I'd def. take a test if by tonight AF didn't arrive fully.

I did something really silly. I’m 9dpo today and came home from work and test. My urine was see through and prob super diluted... obviously got a BFN.
Now I feel rubbish and that I’m out for the month! 😐
