Hello, new here!

TTC #2. #1 was easy and happened very quickly, under no allusions it will be as quick second time around!!

I BF my LO (1 year old) had a period at 11 months but not had another this month? Wanted to do something so I used opks only from yesterday but think I got a positive, how can that be?!

So I suppose I'm looking for successful stories from people in my situation. Or do I just not bother getting my hopes up until I stop feeding?

Looking forward to hearing your stories!

Hi @BBIvy

We had a similar situation where I successfully conceived when DC1 had just turned 1 and was still feeding. Fingers crossed for you! Smile

Oh I hope I get lucky! Had your period come back? Xx

@BBIvy sometimes you can get a positive opk and be pregnant if you haven't had your period take a test and see if not looks like you might have had an odd cycle and 🤞🏻 you're about to ovulate!

I'm bf my little one (13 months) periods started to come back on and off from December and have had a few early losses and short luteal phases (7 and 10 days)
If you track your temperature you will be able to confirm if pos opk is just a surge or ovulation :)

@firsttimemummy321 thank you! Yes I have taken a few tests last week so definitely not pregnant unfortunately!

Could I still temp even though I'm up in the night with my LO, would the skew the readings?
Sorry for your losses xx

I assume it's normal for periods to be irregular then?

Gosh it's crazy what our bodies do when we are BF! Xx
