Activity post IVF transfer

Hi, I had an IVF transfer yesterday but whereas last time I was able to rest lots afterwards, this time I have a very active toddler to juggle and who needs picking up etc. Perhaps silly but I can't help worry that all the activity, picking him up, being much active and tired will affect the transfer success. Does anyone have experience please of doing IVF successfully whilst still being very much on the go straight after/juggling a toddler. Thanks

Hi @turquoisegirl6, I don’t have any personal experience with this, but my SiL had her children through IVF and had a very active toddler when she had her second transfer, and it definitely can’t have affected the transfer as she went on to have twins! I can see why you feel nervous about it but I’m sure you’ll be fine 😊 good luck!

It's fine. in fact some say the blood pumping is good for the uterus. Keep to the daily level of activity your body is used to and it will be ok. just don't start any marathons

I was told to continue daily activities.
Don’t worry

Thank you so much everyone. That's so good to know. Really appreciate the responses. Last time I lay on the sofa watching box sets at-least for the first couple of days so this time it's a very different experience and much more full on (but I feel very blessed it is, and in a way a good distraction).
