Lines not getting darker

Just needed to vent here, 17dpo and my lines are not getting darker, did a clear blue over the weekend and got 1-2 weeks... I am worried if this is a chemical pregnancy. I just have sore boobs and no bleeding 😭😭😭

How certain are you of your ovulation date? And how many days late are you for AF now?

Sometimes the cheap strip tests just don’t have all that much dye in them and as for the clearblue digitals they can be notoriously inaccurate.

The fact you’ve had no bleeding or pain is great though.

Most will say stop testing once you’ve got a positive and that a line is a line, but I know from personal experience how difficult it is to step away.

If you do want to try and track progression, perhaps get yourself a couple of frers and do them 48 hours apart. They should show a clear difference.

Thanks @Moominmiss AF was due yesterday, this happened to me in early Feb that's y quite paranoid. I am on progesterone supplements and the fact that I have no bleeding could be due to that ...,

I will test with a Frer tomorrow morning ... I am not really hopeful 😞

The Cheapie strips took ages to darken for me, definitely there is progression there just not in your face obvious. I agree, try an frer you can see the difference if do 2-3 days apart 🤞🏻

I've had multiple chemical pregnancies and lines on these were so much lighter. Good luck x

@firsttimemummy321 sorry for ur losses, I have had 1 chemical and another missed mc... I will test in the morning with frer... if it is a chemical I just want to move on .., 😭

After I got my bfp on a frer, I tested frequently with cheapies to see a good line progression, however the difference between lines was so vast- one giving a good strong line to the next looking completely negative the next morning. It was horrendous for my anxiety as I thought I was having another loss.

I feel your anxiety @Belle34, in the past year of ttc I had 4 miscarriages and each time I drive myself crazy testing like a crazy lady, analysing lines, so I totally get your need to do it.

I am now 20 weeks pregnant after starting aspirin from ovulation and then progesterone from 5 weeks so it can happen after several losses even when things feel hopeless.

Keeping everything crossed for you in the morning and that this is it for you!

Thanks for all the reassuring words ladies. Did another test unfortunately it's lighter than yesterday and definitely a chemical. I will stop taking cyclogest and wait for the bleeding to start... at least I know what's happening... gotta brush myself off and try again.. hopefully one day I will have my rainbow baby 🌈
