Hello all,
This may be a long one...sorry!
I'm driving myself slightly crazy with this one and would love some advice and insight.
I have two gorgeous boys (6 and 1) and a happy stable family life with my lovely husband. We are comfortable financially, my husband has his own business and I am not working at the moment but would like to go back to working flexibly (I'm freelance) a couple of hours a day (I can do this and work for my OH too).
I am so torn on whether or not to have another baby. My husband is also undecided but I think would stick with two if he was pushed into a decision. He works long hours and travels for work.
My eldest was a poorly boy with lots of ear infections and still has them now he has also been diagnosed with Dyspraxia and needs a lot of extra work done by myself after school which is currently hard to juggle with the 1 year old.
I cannot stop thinking about whether or not to have a third, I found 0-1 so rough but 1-2 a pleasant surprise, probably due to the 4.5 year age gap. If we were to have another it would need to be soon so there isn't a big gap again and also because I'm 35 this year.
My biggest concern is not managing all 3, how hard is it to have 1 more? We have no support at all but OH said we could get a nanny. How do you mums of three manage days out? Park trips? Alone time? Homework?
I know the early years are tough but what's it like with three older kids and juggling hobbies and homework etc? How do you give them all enough attention? Does anyone have experience of having three with a nanny?
Please give me all of the answers Grin and help me make this almost impossible decision,
Thank you xx
