Announcing PG to partner ideas.....

I have two teenagers from my first marriage, my new partner and I are current trying for a baby, it’ll be his first baby and he’s so excited !

With both my older children I just told their dad over the phone whilst he was at work as tbh we didn’t really ever have a great relationship and he didn’t ever get particularly involved with either pregnancy (we were together 20yrs !!)

My new partner is a paramedic and very very kind and just so loving and wants to get involved with every aspect of the pregnancy (I want him to deliver the baby too when the time comes !)

I want to announce it to him in a really special way. I had thought of just doing the test in front of him and then letting him read the result but that seems a bit boring lol

Any ideas ?? Thanks

Treasure hunt/ surprise in a card/scratch card? Wrap up the test or a baby item? (Possibly for Father's Day if the timing is right? :)

A little box for him to unwrap with the positive test, baby grow saying "Baby Surname", and a "Guess what" card on top? Would be a nice keepsake too.

Thanks ! Ive ordered an ambulance ‘in training’ baby vest (my partner is a paramedic) some green booties, and a printed off a thing saying you’re going to be a daddy with the positive pg test too !

My husband really wanted to take the test with me - I was so keen on doing a surprise for him but he wanted to find out with me.

Has your partner suggested what he’d prefer?
