Minster2012 · 03/05/2021 15:52

Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Oh and we like an embarrassing story to get your ticket for entry please!

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Oh @Sausage1990 I've just noticed what has happened, I'm so so sorry you are going through this again 💔 your movie marathon sounds like a great way to try and distract yourselves x

Ltay2 · 09/05/2021 14:31

Yesterday was a complete debacle for me and little one. We went all the way to Manchester via ambulance only to have the ultrasound repeated at Manchester and be told that no he doesn't actually have pyloric stenosis, at least not that they can confirm, and so he didn't have surgery. We waited around there all day with him being nil by mouth only to be told we can try him on some milk at about 4pm, so we did. Of course he was sick straight away again as expected. So as it wasn't pyloric stenosis we didn't need to be at Manchester so at 8.30pm last night back we were in the ambulance, except no car seat available this time so I had to hold him the hour journey with no seatbelt for him to secure him just relying solely on me to keep him safe. It was fine and we made it back to Blackpool hospital to be back under paediatric care. Long story slight less long, we are now going down the route of CMPA and currently trialling non cows milk formula (Nutrimagen) which he is drinking happily despite the absolute stench of it 🤢 only been minimally sick, more like normal baby spit up levels, and so far seems slightly more chilled. Time will tell if this is the answer, I hope it is. Whilst it's good that he doesn't need surgery at his tiny size at least the surgery was a definitive solution and the problem was going to be solved, if it was pyloric stenosis that is. If nothing improves from this new milk then they will redo the ultrasound in a week to see how the pylorus is doing then as it's not 100% ruled out yet.

DOB78 · 09/05/2021 15:22

Ah thanks for all the advice ladies at 43 you'd think I'd know how this stuff works!!! Didn't have this issue 20 years ago just loads of sex, boom out came a baby 9 months later!!! Anyhoo I'm counting myself out this month plan for June. So carrying on with the wine and the caffeine whilst trying to drinking plenty of water, eating healthy and exercise 😅

DOB78 · 09/05/2021 15:23

@Ltay2 hope your little man is feeling better soon. Hope your finding time to look after yourself too.
@Crazydoglady123 I'd love to see that but I'm not on Instagram bet its amazing to watch

paintfairy · 09/05/2021 17:12

@bez91 I'm intrigued what they are putting down!?
@Sausage1990 how awful for you. Literally such a shit time without anything else bloody added. Film distractions sound good. Any distractions.....
@Ltay2 oh no! What a palaver. 🙈 I hope they get to the bottom of it. Poor thing.
No idea why 1000 weirdos are suddenly posting on MN? I mean- surely you have something better to do? 🤷‍♀️

bez91 · 09/05/2021 17:38

@Minster2012 @paintfairy it has been wet wipes and incontinence pads 🙈This week a teatowel, apparently it was flushed by accident 🤦🏼‍♀️ DH is trained drainsperson on the side and on call this week so had all the gear at home to sort it out but it's not the first time it's happened. They're not bloody grateful either 😂

@Minster2012 glad you had good weather too to enjoy ☀️ ! Waiting referral from shitty GP but imagining it'll be forever and and as secondary infertility issue so we've had a chat and ringing up private fertility place tomorrow for some investigations. They seem to do most things up front whereas I believe the process for NHS here is that they do one, wait results, if ok try something else and so on. I'd rather just know

@larrythelizard we can be eggless together 🥚 😎 what an appropriate comment that was 😂

Kirky658 · 09/05/2021 18:06

@blondepotter I need to know, how was the mac and cheese buffet?!

Franklydear · 09/05/2021 18:44

Hmm, love Mac and cheese, or anything and cheese really
Second castle done and we even had sun, now at home eating a cake dinner again, surely that’s alright...
@Ltay2 glad you found a course of action, my nephew was lactose intolerant and also have the smelly milk, he is now 7 and can have dairy but still a bit of reaction in skin contact
Boo on the eggless cycles....
Off to Instagram as I want to see @Crazydoglady123 eggs😂

larrythelizard · 09/05/2021 19:01

@Ltay2 hope that milk works and he's a happier soul soon.

@bez91 happily keep you company with no eggs!! I'm sort of wanting to send DH to get a SA done but at the same rime we agreed we wouldn't have any treatment for a second child...not sure I feel about that agreement anymore!!

Anyone any good at colours and decorating? Have decided I want to paint the downstairs loo and do something quite good. What colour goes with sort of olive green and blush pink? I like the idea of doing some stripes but the pic I like of Houzz has three stripes 🤔

Spot the distraction therapy!!

Haiyaa · 09/05/2021 19:28

@Crazydoglady123 no I haven’t, what is your Insta name?

@larrythelizard, I would say gold but I would literally put gold with everything 😂

@Ltay2 we had similar with DD at around 6 weeks. Nappies were full of blood too. Cue 3 night hospital stay with scans for pyloric stenosis but then went down the CMPA route too. Only difference was that I was exclusively breastfeeding so had to cut out all dairy from my diet 😱😱😱 and I absolutely adore all things dairy! Even if it hasn’t settled completely that is still good as it can take 3-6 weeks for everything to clear from their little systems so you will probably find he will continue to improve as time goes on.

Crazydoglady123 · 09/05/2021 19:31

@Franklydear It's so cool 😎

@Haiyaa it's mysimplyjourney

Franklydear · 09/05/2021 19:34

@Crazydoglady123 found it, it is really cool,I showed it to dh, he is now wondering why...😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/05/2021 19:55

@Minster2012 it's so yummy isn't it! Your walk sounds nice, I'm glad it was Dh on tractor duties!
@larrythelizard well done on reporting that. It's all over the conception pages! Must be a bot like you get on Instagram.
@Ltay2 gosh what an absolute palaver! So sorry you're being made to go through all this but hopefully he does well on the new milk and that solves it. Lots of love 💕
@Crazydoglady123 it's an amazing video! I'm going to show it to Dh soon. Just on the train with him and my sister at mo so want to wait until we're home and show him in private. Another yummy meal out tho today. Lamb roast this time and I didn't need my coat on for all of it! Small wins 💪🏾

Haiyaa · 09/05/2021 20:05

OMG @Crazydoglady123 that video is just incredible! How are you feeling today? I’m not sure how it works with potential implantation etc? When would you start getting symptoms? Are you technically 6dpo?

Vil10 · 09/05/2021 20:34

@Minster2012 that little trip sounds lovely!! And so easy like you say, just packing a little amount and going! The dream! Glad your DH has said thet and you have all the support you need, keep going lovely❤️ also love that rule!! If you have more than 2 you should share the others

@notyetamumbuttrying fingers crossed for both our holidays! Hope you had a lovely day at your parents!

@Sausage1990 never apologise for expressing how you're feeling!! I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, we're all here to listen to you❤️

@larrythelizard I don't feel very organised! I don't know whether to just postpone a holiday until august, but it's a lot more expensive then because of school holidays!

@Ltay2 hopefully this milk works🤞🏼

So baby shower was lovely, got to cuddle my friends 5 month old all day long, but yet again got the "oooo it'll be you next" comments👊🏻👊🏻

Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 21:08

@Haiyaa I saw that too! You need to watch it @Crazydoglady123 it was great that, they had spent £100k on IVF 😬I really love the lapse! Every time you feel the need to POAS or symptom spot watch that instead

@Ltay2 oh you & he poor things, but yeah a definitive answer (that could be fixed) was a decent solution I get that especially with a child with allergies myself it can be a horrendous time trying to work out what's going on but it is good no surgery

@DOB78 that sounds like a plan for now & June and NEWSFLASH none of us know what we are doing with our bodies 🤣

@bez91 oh god your neighbours!! And ungrateful?!! Wtf! I think doing private testing is a good thing def if you can do, good plan! Oooo and on the colours I'd go mustard or grey if you want neutral, we have pink green & grey in our bedroom

@BlondePotter what I want to know is what is a BUFFET of Mac n cheese?? Like lots of different flavours??

@notyetamumbuttrying im off tractor duties from last week 🤣

@Vil10 we should def start that 2 only rule until ALL your mates have had at least one baby, damn it for the comments 😫

Crazydoglady123 · 09/05/2021 21:16

Haha @Franklydear

@notyetamumbuttrying how are you feeling? Headache still lingering? Glad you had a nice time out! We went out for brunch. Was so nice to be out and amongst people 😂

@Haiyaa I'm so attached to my little embabies in the video 🥰 I'm really not sure time wise, I assume so. @Minster2012 I'm sure will be able to answer that. I feel okay. My boobs are really aching but that's probably the progesterone pessaries. My ovaries are still quite sore. I sneezed this morning and had such a sharp horrible pain in my left one but I think they're just still a bit traumatised over what they've been through 😅

@Ltay2 fingers crossed the new milk works 🤞

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/05/2021 21:39

@Vil10 thank you! Yeah lovely day thanks 😊
Gosh those comments! You need to reply with "you know some ppl struggle, we might end up being one of those couples so it's something to bear in mind in case we are" should make them think twice then!
@Minster2012 yes, good! I'm sure ds still had fun being pulled along by Dh 🥰
@Crazydoglady123 yep still there lingering! Only noticing now that I'm bk home, odd eh! It's amazing being out isn't it, so nice to feel normal.
Ahh your little embabies! So have you not been told when to test then? Or sent home with tests? Some clinics call you in for blood tests don't they.

Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 21:41

@Franklydear yeah I don't think even my DH would care that much on the video and we've done it 4 times 🤣

@Haiyaa yes you are right, if it's a 5 day old blast it's like 5dpo anyway, so yep @Crazydoglady123 is 6 dpo hence implantation is often 2/3 days Max after transfer of 5 days, for me I got def implantation pain 2 days after 5 day transfer but unlike @Crazydoglady123 I wasn't still sore from the egg collection (and Jesus I know what @Crazydoglady123 means about pain in the ovaries I felt like I'd had a fight with Mike Tyson!) so after fresh transfer you really aren't any the wiser!! But it's weird how different clinics have different "official test dates", ours was a full 2 weeks after, most places are 11/12 days after- what's yours @Crazydoglady123? Lots of ppl test from 6 days after (so that's 11dpo) or even test every day to watch the trigger hcg out (only fresh transfers not frozen ones like mine) then see if a line appears like @paintfairy did for hers. Or you can wait so you know it's a REAL result 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Crazydoglady123 · 09/05/2021 22:27

@notyetamumbuttrying I found mine got worse in the evening so that may be why.

@Minster2012 mines 11dp5dt so 19th May. I love the testing everyday idea but I think my OH still wants to wait until the OTD.

Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 22:31

Yeah see @Crazydoglady123 that's standard which annoyed me so much ours being the full TWW I was like "no one does that in real life!" My DH hates early testing too & would absolutely hate testing the trigger out, I think you either need to do it or not Cos if you don't then if you test at 6dp5dt you would still have doubt but that's just me, it's not like the rest of us don't test more often too you'd still continue to test 🤦🏼‍♀️

bez91 · 09/05/2021 22:33

@larrythelizard... recommendation below from @Minster2012 - It's Larry decorating not me 😆 we've got olive in a couple of rooms and put it with a dulux 'Egyptian cotton' which seems to go well. I've gone something a bit different in a couple of rooms and as shit as it sounds an off white if you're doing stripes/blocks of colour breaks things up nicely

@notyetamumbuttrying that's a good suggestion for @Vil10 on the baby questioning. Bloody busybodies. Glad you had a good day 😊

blackcurrantqueen · 09/05/2021 23:00

Evening ladies
Hope we are all good
My DD has croup so we are in for a long night, hope we aren't going to end up in a+e
(This might help some of you identify me on insta if you follow me as I posted it on my story 😂)

@bez91 I have card room green by farrow and ball in my downstairs toilet and I love it! If you were feeling really edgy maybe you could pair it with black? 😍

My downstairs bathroom is finally finished except from I need a sink still 😂

So today was officially O day at 14dpo, we DTD on CD10,12,13 and 14. So I best be bloody covered 😂
Here's to this month 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

blackcurrantqueen · 09/05/2021 23:01

Oh wait I meant to tag @larrythelizard not @bez91 😂
We've just done our hall in Egyptian cotton and I LOVE it except for my darling child has more or
less finger printed every wall 🥴

larrythelizard · 10/05/2021 06:35

Ah thanks ladies, some good ideas to google for painting!

I got a peak yesterday on CB OPK at day 21 but temps still not aligning with it so who knows wtf is going on.

Happy Monday all..here's hoping for a good week!
