Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Oh and we like an embarrassing story to get your ticket for entry please!

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens

If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous I won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

@dkdk123 oh gosh your poor mum, glad she's ok. My my mum is in her 50s and has been in and out of hospital past 2 years with heart problems. She's got a monitor fitted now which she has to push the button on when she has a palpitations or tightening but they're still none the wiser.

Pram shopping for me today, eeeep!!!

Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 09:53

Ha ha ha jizztits here @pennysays 🤪I'm sure we had sticky tits as a title back in the day! For my anovulationary cycles the last time was the cycle before BFP & had 11 days of smiley faces on CB tests & a high on IC of around 85% around day 21-23 and had a cycle of 36 days, during 2020 I had cycles of anything up to 40-60 days where we then brought on AF with northisterone, but that was after a MMC where it totally fucked me up for months & we think my cycle was still being messed with by my legacy chemo, so hopefully the 36 days in feb/March is more what you are looking at. I stepped away from testing on the OPKs those cycles as was just getting frustrated, I got my day 21 bloods (but at day 28/29 as well as 21) done on a lot of cycles at various times to try confirm or not ovulation so you could talk to your GP bout that initially?

@Crazydoglady123 we've only been to halkadiki but we had the most amazing week (including putting DS into day care for a couple of days!) which helped relax us!! That island sounds amazing with 🐢I'm adding that to list!

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah scan 11am weds so after today it's 2 days to get through 🤞🏻hopefully today will be better for you, we did dinner in the cold & it's not as fun as you think 😹

@pennysays hi lovely. Thanks for thinking of me. I'm doing okay. Well as ok as can be. Just feeling a bit numb to be honest. Having a quiet weekend, saw my parents yesterday and will be seeing my in-laws today. Just in shock i think. It doesn't feel real. We have a phone call with the hospital tomorrow to make plans for the next steps...
I just can't believe I'm here again. And that I've essentially got through the 1st trimester twice (well 10 weeks this time), felt all the symptoms, even worse this time than last, and still have no reward. Everyone says it will be worth it in the end and I kept saying hopefully. And here we are again, it's the shitty end if the deal. And in order to have our baby in our arms I have to do this all again and I don't know how to. The fear and anxiety was so big this time, I don't know how to do it again. I just want to have our baby. Instead I had 2 watch 2 friends belly grow and baby's arrive who I should have been pregnant with the 1st time and who's babies were due around the same time as our previous pregancy, and this time I have 2 friends who I also share an office with who are pregnant and we were all going to have our mat leave off together. And now I have to watch their belly grow, every day in work. I don't quite know how to deal with that. My heart is hurting so much. It feels so cruel. I'm exhausted by it all.

God, I'm sorry for my ramblings... Essentially we're both OK, DH has been amazing and I've watched alot of films... All 3 Hobbit films and will now move onto Harry Potter I think. I'm sorry that I'm not keeping up with everyone, I'm just in a bit of a bubble. I hope you're all doing ok tho 💕

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/05/2021 10:01

@Minster2012 🤞🏾hoping the days fly by for you! Yeah eating with your coat and scarf on isn't ideal is it, especially in May 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/05/2021 10:03

@Sausage1990 please don't apologise for sharing how you're feeling and what you're going through. It's a horrible time for you and we'll all try and support as much as we can from here 💕 your self care strategies sound great! Excellent choice of films 👍🏾

Franklydear · 09/05/2021 10:21

@Sausage1990 I have no wise words of advice, but it sounds like you’re doing great to self care and very brave to plan the next step, you are a wonderful woman, I hope your dreams come true

@dob78 I found ewcm a much better indicator than OPKs, or at least if I waited until a peak on opk then I was never successful but when i DTD as soon as I saw ewcm I was - could just be luck of course but the ewcm is to get the sperm in the right place and then it's happy to sit around a few days waiting for the egg anyway

@Franklydear well done on getting so much chopped off! You'll be making a little girl so happy and you look great too!

@pennysays my anovulatory cycles were between 40-65 so I stopped with the OPKs and just waited for AF. of course poas a couple of times 'just in case' but AF always got there eventually. So frustrating though as you just want to get started on a new cycle 💛

@Sausage1990 I'm sorry you have work colleagues who were similar stage of pregnancy, that will be hard but you are a strong person even if you don't feel it. 💗 HP is a good choice to move onto

@notyetamumbuttrying I also hate eating in my coat! Off to a friend's for lunch and she has said she's making a Mac and cheese buffet so I'm very excited 😆

DOB78 · 09/05/2021 10:41

@Sausage1990 I'm so sorry you're going through this its just shit and nothing anyone can say is going to make this better. I hope you can find peace and do whatever you need to do to move forward xx

Franklydear · 09/05/2021 10:53

Why are we having so many strangers delete messages?

Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 11:13

Def don't apologise @Sausage1990 it's awful, and watching others in similar positions will be painful, as will trying again. There should be a one miscarriage only rule per woman & there are many ladies here who have broken that rule

I def agree with @BlondePotter bout the ewcm to help the swimmers get where they need to be so hopefully you are covered anyway

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 11:19

@Vil10 maybe it should also be a rule that the fertile share the babies around before having more!

bez91 · 09/05/2021 11:59

@DKDK123 sorry about your mum, hope she's on the mend soon. That challenge is ace, go you 💪🏼 I imagine the sharing of your journey might feel quite a relief.

@pennysays you sound like me, CD10 already had peak once on CB at CD7, high fertility on CB today and negative cheapy OPKs throughout, temp says nothing 😂 maybe just keep testing until period shows? I'm expecting anovulatory cycle this month again.

@Sausage1990 you're entitled to feel exactly as you feel, don't apologise for that 💕

Sunny day here, sat in the garden. Poor DH is sorting out drains out as our OAP ossified neighbours are starting to loose the plot and have started putting things down the loo they shouldn't do 🤦🏼‍♀️

Crazydoglady123 · 09/05/2021 12:16

@DKDK123 sorry about your mum! Hope she's okay! What an amazing challenge for an amazing cause. You'll have to share the link for your fundraising page when you do it.

@Sausage1990 I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling but know we all are hear for you and thinking of you loads ❤️

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/05/2021 12:18

@BlondePotter omg I fricking love Mac n cheese! It's what I had last night 😆 enjoy mate.
@Franklydear yeah I'm wondering that too 🧐
@bez91 ah your poor Dh! 🙈 it's so hard when the elderly start losing it and doing weird stuff like that. The poor things. Enjoy the lovely sunshine! 😎

Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 12:49

What are they putting down the loo @bez91?! We've got some sun here too & DS said he wanted to go to the woods so we managed nearly a 2 hour walk (DH pulling DS on his tractor) so that's good! Sorry bout the looking like anovulutionary cycle again, are you doing investigations?

I haven't had Mac n cheese for AGES!! Mmm @notyetamumbuttrying @BlondePotter mmmmm

It seems like a few threads have deleted things so maybe across all of pregnancy/conception?

Oh @Sausage1990 sweetheart that sounds unbelievably cruel. Stay in your bubble as long as you need to.

Like the sound of your PMA sticky tits, oh, sorry @Minster2012!!

@Vil10 sounds like you've got a plan for holidays which is good!

No idea @pennysays my BBT has not tied up with the OPKs this cycle so I'm assuming no egg this time round either. A friend earlier said as much as 1 in 3 cycles can be egg-less (I can't remember what the word is!)

I think I'm just going to temp until AF shows up and then knock it on the head for at least the next cycle!

Hope your mum is OK @DKDK123

larrythelizard · 09/05/2021 13:12

Oh, and this is the sort of thing getting deleted (I reported it)

A dozen eggs collected in a box, waiting to hatch, someone call the sperminator! TTC bus 40
Minster2012 · 09/05/2021 13:20

@larrythelizard well at least the content was appropriate for our thread though we aren't interested love 🤣😂 yes I've read 1 in 3 cycles too, so frustrating

@Crazydoglady123 I can't stop looking at your time lapse of the embryos, everyone should watch it, it's amazing what actually happens after fertilisation, they both look very promising those 🤞🏻😘

OP posts:
Haiyaa · 09/05/2021 13:28

@Sausage1990 you do whatever you need to do and feel how you feel. It’s quite normal to feel frustrated/angry/jealous along with everything else I know I certainly did and have only had one miscarriage. I can’t begin to imagine how you must feel.

@Crazydoglady123 love the photo and REALLY love that you have two little embryos on board. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for two sticky beans! I did just see the second Baby Surgeon episode and a lady had two transferred which became three babies though.... just saying 😃

@larrythelizard WTF! Mumsnet under siege by weirdos!

Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous @Franklydear!

lucyrp · 09/05/2021 13:45

@larrythelizard omg what 🙈🙈🙈

Crazydoglady123 · 09/05/2021 13:48

@Minster2012 so cool isn't it! Wish I could upload it on here 🙄

@Haiyaa do you follow me on Instagram? The video of the embryos dividing and doing their thing is on there. I heard about this the other day! When I was having my acupucture after the transfer I was laying there thing "omg what have we done, what if at the scan there's more than two 😂😬"
