How long did it take you to conceive your second? I'm feel so deflated, iv definitely been niave into thinking my second would be just as easy to conceive as my first. My first was literally one try after coming of my pill didn't use any trackers or anything as wasn't aware of it back then so was in heinsight was pot luck really. We have only been trying for 2 months so in reality not long at all and I know there's loads of ladies out there it has taken years so don't want to seem selfish in this post at all. But I tracked properly in April, got my static smiley with clear blue on the 18th of April my bbt chart shows I ovulated on the 20th, im 13dpo today and AF is due tomorrow iv had negative tests and period pains last 2 days which is constantly there so I know I'm coming on tomorrow. Just feel rubbish knowing I done everything right but no outcome 😢

It was the opposite way around for me, my first took 7 years
And my second I was only 3 months pp, just a one off to see if my body was back to normal 😂
Don't lose hope tho! When I was trying for my first I thought it was never going to happen and I was told by numerous doctors and specialists that I had next to no chance, and it did happen, I just thought sod if then what will be will be and the next minute I was sat thinking hang on when was I due on???... bfp!

7 years oh my 😮, I never realised before coming in here how difficult it can be! I'm trying to be positive, I'm thinking next month i won't track so there's not so much pressure but then other half of me is thinking if I don't track what if I miss it? 😩

I did find once I wasn't putting too much pressure on myself it just happened, my DP started going the gym and taking supplements too so maybe that was a huge factor

I feel exactly the same!! I’m on my 7th cycle TTC #1 and not feeling hopeful for this month… (currently 3DPO). Half of me feels like I need to stop using OPKs and just go with the flow and not put too much stress on myself, but the other half then worries I’ll waste that month / cycle, and I’m already 7 in. I never realised how tough this TTC process would be!!! x

Iv ordered some supplements so hopefully they help 🤞🏼🤞🏼 x

@Lebe14 my partner just wants to go with the flow but makes me so anxious to think I could miss that vital day. My AF came thus afternoon, I did burst out crying even thought i was expecting it. I keep thinking back to my first, I came off the pill didn't even have a proper period as such, was j more fertile being on the pill? God knows x

@Rmw99 I’m so sorry to hear about this afternoon - even when ones expecting it, there’s always still that teeny, tiny bit of hope we all have that it might be a positive month… so still upsetting when AF arrives. I’ve heard that you can be more fertile just when you’ve stopped the pill, but not sure if that’s scientifically the case. It’s a total mystery and wasn’t right in my case Confused. I’m away in my fertile window this month, so think I’m going to take a month off OPK’ing and get back on it in June. Hope you’re okay x

@Rmw99 I hope your ok, I honestly totally understand how heart wrenching it can be sometimes, remember to be kind to yourself too, nice hot bath, wine and allll of the chocolate 😉
