Implantation bleeding

Can anyone tell me what symptoms implantation bleeding should be? Ive started bleeding and I'm not due on until the end of this coming week so dont know whether ive come on early or not...

Mine was brown, light and lasted no more than 2 days. I completely missed it was implantation bleeding and only found out when I went for an early scan!

I've seen it twice. Both times, it was a tiny speck on toilet paper when wiping. Nothing on underwear and nothing more. 1st time was pink, the 2nd was more yellow/brown, but a tiny speck 2mm across. No pain I can recall either.

I had a proper bleed about a week before my period, it was red blood and enough to need a pad. I thought it was my period but I just felt different so a few days later I tested and it was positive!

On 1 wipe a small amount of pale brown dc. That was it

The first time I experienced implantation bleeding it was more like red streaked mucus which lasted a day. This pregnancy it was full on red blood and intense cramps, which lasted for several days and I spotted for two weeks after. I assumed the worst but an early scan at 8 weeks confirmed the pregnancy. Now 20 weeks pregnant!

When i noticed spotting i thought it was implantation bleeding but then it got heavier and i started to put a pad on and it covered a pad so im guessing it was a proper period, dont know whether to test or not...

Mine started with spotting then it got heavier which needed pads/tampons for and i had all period symptoms e.g. belly ache, back ache, sore boobs and now im off it so dont know whether of it was period or what. Im scared to do a test to be disappointed!

It doesn’t sound like implantation bleeding but no harm in testing. Good luck if you’re TTC!

Unfortunately you can't do much else but taking a pregnancy test. I'm sorry, I know it sucks. Been there, done that. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

Hi, sorry I know this is an old post but I was just wondering if anyone had any advice/similar situation. We have been trying for our second baby for a few months now, the first month nothing and my period came on day 31 as expected (since stopping breastfeeding my periods have been 31 days apart each month) however the second and third month, roughly around 10dpo I have had very small amounts of light pink/brown when I wipe for a few days, then suddenly one or two days later this has turned into my period (both times period has been shorter than usual but heavier than usual) and then it has stopped completely quite abruptly. I have not had positive pregnancy tests during this time, but certainly the first time this happened I had all of the pregnancy symptoms in the days leading up to the bleeding. Do you think this is implantation bleeding and then I am losing the pregnancy? It just doesnt feel like my normal period, but by the end I am definitely not pregnant anymore! I was just wondering if anyone had experienced the same. I am going to make a docs appt but I am not sure they will take me very seriously and will pass it off as my period.
