Hi everyone, I'm out of the game for this month, sadly... but it was my first month TTC so I feel like I'm now much better prepared for round 2: OPKs at the ready, keeping better track of dates etc etc. Good luck to everyone still hopeful for this month!

Thanks @Willow1982! We missed dtd the day after ovulation as we were exhausted being up the night before, so god only knows! Hope you got a positive smiley soon! xx

I should have the peak tomorrow if my cycle is regular, had high readings with the fertility monitor for the past couple of days, and had dtd today, the day before yesterday and a couple more before that. I'm tired! So if I have a peak tomorrow, you think I should just dtd for two days more?

Yes I did @Lexber and it was a very stark BFN on a FRER , not even a hint of a line. I'm 11 / 12 dpo so I would expect to see something on a FRER by now really. Feeling a bit weepy and sorry for myself, it's unfortunate timing that we had another pregnancy announcement in our friendship circle this week . But Hey ho..onto cycle 5 we go. Keeping my fingers crossed for you still this cycle!

@Bundaberg84 I think you need to dtd on ovulation day and the day after, I think!

@dunkedbiscuit I’m sorry you’re feeling that way, it must be so hard when you have friends falling pregnant around you too. But you’re still not out this month until af shows up, there’s still hope. Fingers crossed! xx

Sorry to hear that @dunkedbiscuit! But you really arnt out until AF shows her face, I know people who have had negative test which then was positive 3 or so days after AF was due! I know that doesn't help as you don't want to get hopeful😔

It really is crazy how our mind and body can trick us, I've had a super long cycle this month and didnt ov until day 29! So only 3DPO and already know I'm symptom spotting, 😖 I never normally start symptom spotting this close to ovulation...... going to be a long 2 weeks

So I'm currently CD44.
I've gone from 2/3 days of ewcm, sore boobs and increased sex drive to cramps and a stabby pain in my boob (I've had this before and I'm sure it's somehow related to my cycle).
Fingers crossed I did ovulate, now for the super extra long tww. Im packing up to move end of the month so at least I have something to keep me busy!

@dunkedbiscuit I’m sorry to hear that today, but like everyone says on here your not out till AF shows up, it’s such a cruel mind game our bodies play on though isn’t it, I’ll still have my fingers crossed for you xx🍀
@Miller2021 I was the same as you, all quite new to TTC first cycle was a sort of test run, this cycle in way more knowledgable, mainly from help on here! Good luck for the next cycle xx

It's not over til it's over! I'm feeling a bit meh but it is what it is, if I am great, if not I will try again trying to stay positive but I felt the same yesterday at my test which was exactly like yours!! Try and keep the faith xxx

Fingers crossed for you. My partner works away he only home on weekend every 2 weeks and just so happens u got my smiley face the day he came home so we dtd loads before he went away again 🤣

How do people cope with unavoidable stress? We’re selling our flat and so having to do viewings and it’s so stressful. I am exhausted at the end of an hour of viewings. Doesn’t help that I’m 6DPO so never have any energy during this part of my cycle. Husband can’t do the viewings either, so having to do it on my own and it’s a lot 😫

@AllyCat31 last time I was under a lot of stress, also moving and work and other unavailable things I went to acupuncture, it helped me. Not tremendously but I could feel the difference.
Also meditating. I love headspace, sometimes just small 10 minutes guided meditations can help.

@AllyCat31 my job is highly stressful anyway but my particular company are awful so I have been under severe stress for last 18 months. And particularly in the last 2 months as there's been a falling out and horrendous treatment by them so basically now I'm leaving on bad terms. I also start a new job next week which again is a stressful event. I worry so much about the impact of all this on TTC 😩

Thanks for the tip @Bundaberg84 I’ll look into that although I’ve had acupuncture before and it didn’t work. Maybe a massage or something would do a similar job

@justwant2beamum that’s so horrible. I’m glad you’ve got a new job and I hope they’re much nicer. I worry about the stress too but I can’t avoid it. Also I think better now than later in our TTC “journey” /if I was pregnant

I’ve been doing some fertility yoga online, I like yoga in general as it really relaxes me as it makes me breathe properly. You could try that. xx

Morning ladies quick question, I have had the tx to be offered the COVID vaccine today as I’m 38, what’s your thoughts on getting it whilst TTC? I found a thread on mumsnet from December and all the ladies were against it, but I wonder if opinions have changed? I’m so unsure what to do? The earliest I can get it is this Sunday, I would have just come out my fertile week, so potentially could have conceived, do I wait, or get it done asap? Can’t talk to anyone else as they don’t know I’m TTC!!xx

Lady night my boobs were awful and DH laid on me and I was in tears 🤦🏽‍♀️ feel bloated to hell and actually look preg in my leggings 🤣🤣 good old bloat!

@Willow1982 i am in the same boat! I am 31, TTC#1, 4dpo cycle 1 and due my 1st vaccination tomorrow. When i booked it, we werent TTC and I have tried cancelling and maybe rebooking for the week my period is due (if af comes). I am by no means an anti vax but its stressing me out deciding what is best. Im 31, no kids and have pcos so i dont want to take any chances at all xx

@Willow1982 @CTMcG I am also in the same situation! I am 4DPO today and due to have my 2nd vaccine on Monday, I think I will be moving it just in case this is the month! I did have my 1st dose while on my TTC journey as I'm currently on cycle 6, after speaking to dr and looking online and came to overall conclusion that would be more beneficial then not at all!

@Willow1982 I'm personally not getting it while TTC or pregnant. But I believe the advice now is that you can.

I had the Astra Zeneca vaccine in January and March. Ever since my periods have become shorter to 24 days, spotting for two days before AF and I have extreme cramps I can’t stand up for a day. I’m worried it has effect my fertility :(

@Willow1982 I got mine a week before we started trying to conceive. I think the worry is that if you were pregnant then a temperature my be detrimental to the pregnancy. Maybe you could ring to ask for advice or change it? xx
