@amyannx Oh that's good news hun! I'm so pleased for you. I know what you mean about the scan but at least you're currently heading in the right direction and at least you know yourself that even if you don't see anything on the scan, that's very normal for the gestation. Try and relax a little now ❤️ xxx

Hi everyone! 6dp 2nd IUI here. TTC first baby. Having some lower back pain and hoping it's related to implantation but who knows? I've been fooled many many times before.

Good evening all!😊 today is suppose to be 1dpo according to my app (im off the pill 5 months now after 12 years and have had 3 cycles since Dec when i came off so not exactly in tune with my periods yet as hadnt had a real one since 18 and i am now 31!

Anyway, today i have really sore lower back pain and slight cramps, could this mean that today is actually ovulation day? Anyone else feel pain when ovulating? I dont know whether to dtd today due to this.. for all i know it could be period cramps but my cycle is slightly longer than normal so doubt it is period cramps

@CTMcG yeah deffo DTD today. I always can tell as I get a dull ache slight cramping around ovulation and my CM totally changes I get loooooads of EWCM (sorry TMI I know but that's how I know)! Xx

@carlsi6 thank you! Nothing is TMI for me😂 only beein trying since last week and I have already turned into Monica from Friends! This will be the 5th time DTD since Wednesday 🙈 Almost afraid to approach the hubby haha!! X

@CTMcG hahahah honestly we turn into demons. I was the same especially this month as soon as I got my positive OPK I was practically waiting on the drive for him. 🤣🤣 xx

@Willow1982 I’m glad it worked! I think I read it on another forum, haha! I’m not having any luck with the cheapies or I’ve consumed too much water. But my CM is saying, “go, go, go”! I think this is the first real sign that I’ve got from my body that I’m actually ovulating since we started trying. It’s in line with what my app is saying too. Fingers crossed! Does that mean you’re close to ovulation with the flashy? xx

@amyannx so glad to hear this!! I’m praying the midwife referral doesn’t take long to come through, said up to 2 weeks before I speak with someone and that was on Friday! Xx

@Court2611 thanks hun, I did my referral on Friday online and it said up to 14 days until I receive a letter with a appointment x

@Twochews78 do you know the month I did conceive I wasn’t tracking with opk but I remember the CM being a definite go go!! I think it’s a really good sign to go by! Fingers crossed indeed!
I believe you get the flashing smileys for a couple of days building up to a static smiley meaning peak! So going to start dtd tonight to hopefully catch the peak this month!!xx

Just reading your posts about midwife appointment... I called my GP surgery last Thursday. They sent me a midwife form to fill in and email back. I sent this back Thursday night and I called the GP surgery again today to ask when I will hear from them with a midwife appointment. She said I will have an appointment when I'm 10 weeks - that can't be right?!
With my first pregnancy, I was quite a few weeks further on so all of my appointments were a bit rushed so I can't really compare to anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ xx

@Confused678866 oh that doesn’t seem right!? I mean I have no idea how it all works as this is my first but I know the one I’m waiting for is just a booking in appointment whatever that is! Xx

@Confused678866 I was just over 10 weeks for my booking appointment; it felt like the longest 4 weeks waiting ever! And then my 12 week scan was at nearly 14 weeks! Due to my miscarriage and complications, when I hopefully do fall pregnant again, I should have my first scan at 11 weeks so who knows how that will work with the booking in appointment. I have no idea why its so late (or what seems to be) x

@Court2611 Yeah that's the one I'm waiting for too, the booking appointment. I think the lady on the phone got it wrong to be honest as she didn't seem very sure. I'll call back in a couple of days to ask again! My booking appointment with my first was done in such a hurry as I was nearly a month further along than I thought! Xx

@Confused678866 yes 10 weeks was the first appointment I got with DD1! They called it the “booking appointment” and it was a long one where they took all the family history, bloods, etc., and book your 12 week scan :) exciting!

Just catching up on this thread. Someone posted about feeling not taken seriously by GPs about gynae issues. Unfortunately I’ve often felt the same way. Things haven’t felt quite right “down there” since dd1’s birth which was quite traumatic and the doctors just aren’t really interested... “well you’d expect that”. Pretty sure I’ve got some prolapse but they’re nawt interested.

Still no AF for me, I was due Friday, but also BFNs. It’s been a month since I had the copper coil removed (during my last period) and I’ve done some research and apparently the copper coil can mess up your cycles by damaging your uterus?! This isn’t something I was told, the story is always your fertility goes back to normal immediately but for lots of people online that hasn’t been the case.

Now I’m worried I’m not going to ovulate / how would I know? OPK every day? With no period I’ve got nothing to go on except cm maybe. But that isn’t looking promising atm so not sure whether to waste an OPK.
