@Quinn26 & @Meg9717 - just on the flip side, I was diagnosed with extensive endometriosis at 23 (after having a 30cm 'chocolate' ovarian cyst removed). My only symptoms were severe one sided pain and heavy bleeding throughout menstrual cycles.

We were told it would be difficult for me to get pregnant as one ovary wasn't working very well due to the surgery etc and yet got pregnant on the 2nd month of trying with our son at 27. I couldn't believe it. Poor OH was prepared for months, possibly years of trying! 😳 😆

I know everyone has a story and I'm just one person, but even if you did get a diagnosis of endo, it wouldn't necessarily mean your fertility would be impacted by it. x

I feel the same about my GP, they never take what I say seriously and take so long to put referrals through that I’d rather just book privately and not be waiting wondering what’s wrong with me🙈

My menstruation is so much heavier and more painful than I’ve ever experienced before which is why I’m concerned.
That’s absolutely amazing news that you conceived so quickly after expecting to need to try for so long!
I think I worry so much because my sister suffers with severe endo and after watching her go through around 7 years of trying and many failed attempts at IVF, it terrifies me that this could be my struggle ahead😭
Though I know not everyone is the same, I’ll try to keep a positive mind and get myself booked in for a wellness/fertility scan so I can see if there is anything to worry about or if I’m just working myself up over nothing x

@BabyFeet92 haha It been a bit of a mad week! I had a meltdown about where we were settling down and buying a house like having cold feet where we decided then i blurted out ‘the location isnt the issue, i want a baby’ lol he was being so logical saying once we bought a house we would start trying and i went along with it because it was sensible but as a 31yo with Pcos i thought feck waiting and he agreed and i was so shocked. I didnt even go into the conversation thinking i was going to tell him i want to start trying now so its been a bit mad but 100% feel ready!

Sounds positive 👍🏻 @Meg9717 - I guess it's hard as you say when you've obviously seen the struggles your sister has had to go through x

Thanks @feliznavidad2 that is positive reassurance. Luckily I don't have too much 'sore' cramping during AF and my pain is just a dull ache which isn't sore but i'm just aware it's there. Probably overthinking things!

@Meg9717 it's hard not to worry isn't it. I think i'll find things to keep myself busy this week to see if it eases off. I really do need to chill out more haha!!

@amyannx Yeah trying to interpret the lines on regular tests can be stressful.. and if enough time hasn't been left between them then they may not look darker but they might actually be completely normal and then it leaves the person stressing! Yeah I like CB digital to be honest as it's just clear and that's it.. but the way midwife looked at me when I said about the weeks indicator, she just literally tossed it aside and said they aren't accurate 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm guessing they are because lots of people use them but I think I'd stress if I used one and then I didn't agree with the weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

@Confused678866 and @amyannx thank you, af just arrived at least 2 days early possible 4 (again). Will speak to the dr later this week see if they will do some tests as this is not ok :(

@abbs1 symptoms can be so similar but negative doesn't mean anything early so 🤞🏻😊

Do you think my ovulation is finally coming? I am confused. Last month my period came 5 days earlier (after harder workout) and I think it messed up this cycle little bit.

A close friend shared with me this mornings she's pregnant, I'm thrilled for her but also feel so gutted! That's the 3rd pregnancy announcement I've had from friends / my NCT group from DS in the last few weeks. Just want it to be my turn!! 😢

Just thought I would give a update, EPU just called my bloods have gone from 130 to 360 today so she said it's a good sign, waiting for a call this week to book a scan for Monday, hope I see something then or I know I will worry but will only be 5 weeks then x

@Twochews78 thank you, has put my mind to rest a little now, just my only worry is if I go Monday and don't see anything as will only be around 5 weeks, with ds i only just about saw the sac at 6 weeks and it wasn't until 8 weeks i saw him on the ultrasound x

Well that’s interesting, firstly thank you @Twochews78 for the advice about testing later in the day,
I hope this helps others that didn’t know, (like myself), I am using the clear blue monitor to test when I wake, and this is the first cycle trying the clear blue smiley face sticks in the afternoon, I have had lows the last couple of days on both tests, which is fine and expected, today I had a low in the morning and now a flashing smiley high just now, so it goes to show the difference! which I had no idea about until the help from mumsnet!! Hope this helps others!xx
