TWW - 7/8th May

New to the TWW - with my first it was a semi unplanned pregnancy so didn't experience this!
Anybody else around a similar time? (I think I'm around 5 dpo at the moment)
This is my second cycle but didn't properly go for it last month. Counting down the days until I can test!

How many dpo are you now? That's the problem with symptom spotting, it could be anything! With regards to the alcohol, I still had a drink but only had one

Do you guys think it's too early to test tomorrow at 9/10dpo? We have wine planned for the evening (just a glass) but obviously I wouldn't drink if it was positive. Am I just giving myself a reason to test too early??

@L1ttleb1t haha I was thinking the same before I was like should I test on Friday then I'll be 9 DPO 🤣 I honestly think this time I am just going to try and wait til AF comes.

If it settles your mind then test but it may be negative anyway as early so remember youre not out until AF comes! Xx

Yes, definitely negative but still no period which is weird for me as I'm usually regularI feel okay about it, just confused! I'd have been lucky to fall pregnant in my first month

@bethabean you said it's your first month TTC - did you take the pill before or did you use any other contraception?

@bethabean your periods may just be adjusting / settling if it's your first month coming of contraception. Mine were all over the place. I had a period 20th December - 24th. Came off the pill on xmas day, had a period on the 11th Jan for a few days which I was assuming was a withdrawal bleed and then they slowly got better after that.

I'm 6 DP0 today. No symptoms apart from the urge to eat everything in sight 🧐. Xx

I was on no contraception! We used condoms only. I have been stressed lately so maybe it's not come because of that

@bethabean that sounds really confusing for you - how annoying for that to happen when you're TTC. Hope it becomes clearer what's going on soon for you.

My nausea and indigestion and sharp pelvic cramps, that I've had for the past 2 days, have all faded today, though boobs are achy. Could just be AF building... I had a BBT dip yesterday but it's back up again today. I'm 9dpo now. Think I will test Friday just in case. If that's negative I'll wait for AF to be late on Monday. Need to stop thinking about TTC when it's not a race. Not sure I can though!

@L1ttleb1t Nothing much to report here, 6DPO today. Apart from being super tired & headachey today but I honestly think that's just me getting back into the routine of work. Boobs feel fine and haven't had any cramps for a few days!! I am really going to try and not test as I can't deal with the disappointment 😭 we are so tough on ourselves xxx

How is everyone today? I'm sitting patiently... okay, not at all patiently... waiting for AF to be due. Didn't think I had any pregnancy symptoms but then I felt dizzy and nauseous a bit on a walk, though we did go over 4 miles and it was hot and sunny. I'm feeling like this isn't out month. Can't really say why.

Positive it was an indent. Can't see it on camera.

I feel fine, today I am definitely getting some weird sensations though like a tingling prickling feeling it's weird. Xx

Thank goodness for cheapies eh? Are you testing again or waiting? The tingling is interesting. I've had a sort of shivery feeling. Is it like that?

@L1ttleb1t no like in my uterus. Like a prickly tingling sensation that turned to a bit of cramp. But AF is due in 4 days so honestly
Could be that. I think it was 100% an indent so might just wait until AF is due unless I get any other symptoms xx

Waiting sounds sensible. It's like I don't want the buildup and disappointment. But then I remember with my daughter I had no symptoms at all just we were TTC so I tested on the day af was due. A fortnight later I was sooooo sick though, I think I should maybe enjoy not having symptoms for now .

@L1ttleb1t deffo! That's why I'm trying not to think about it now until Monday because honestly every month I've had different "symptoms" and they've all turned out to be nothing! I'm working tomorrow so I'll forget about it but the weekend is gonna be difficult 🤣

Still no period here! A part of me has the tiniest bit of hope that I'm pregnant even though all my tests are still negativehave my fingers crossed for you all!!!

You! I have read loads that people sometimes don't get positives until up to a week after AF is due so I'm holding out hope for you.

Tonight I've got loads of trapped wind/gas. Like up in my tummy. My tummy is going wild! Xx

@bethabean you're not out until AF shows! Maybe this means you ovulated a lot later than you thought? Have you been BBT charting?

I'm feeling good today - no symptoms at all to speak of. Had a migraine yesterday that was v v bad.

Hi! 9DPO is still early, like you say. Hopefully your symptoms amount to a BFP in a few days. I'm feeling a bit sick this afternoon - my 3pm meeting was cancelled and I'm pretty glad it was. I'm a bit flaked out. I'm 11dpo and debating whether to test before the weekend...

Only 2 more days to go then you can go for it. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm still feeling a bit sick tonight. It's coming and going. 12 dpo tomorrow...
