Spotting before period

Does anyone have any experience with TTC and spotting for up to 1 week before period?
I have been TTC for 4 months however each month around a week after my positive OPK I start spotting for around a week. Then I have my period but this can last only 2 days. I’m struggling.

I don 't have advice, but for a few months I was spotting about 3 days before period. I'm waiting for blood tests to check hormone levels next month, but it can be due to low progesterone apparently. In the meantime while I wait I'm taking high dose vitamin C which is meant to boost it

I used to spot for around 4-5 days before my period when i was TTC, i had my progesterone checked and it was fine so still not sure why it happened. We conceived after 7 months which sadly ended in an early loss but that seemed to reset everything and it never happened again until the month i actually got my BFP and am now 19 weeks pregnant so i don't know if it was just one of those things- have you recently come off contraception? My cycles took ages to settle down after the pill!

Thanks. I had the implant taken out in December and its been like this ever since. I have spoken to my GP about getting blood tests but she said she wasn't sure if I should count count the first day of spotting as cycle day 1. Or the day as actual red blood as day 1. Any advise is welcome.

Ah okay my cycles went haywire from an early miscarriage, and that's when the spotting started. If its only been a few months since the implant, you might just be settling down. I count the first red blood as period, because that's what my app tells me to do

Yeh thats what I have been doing but I really only have like 2 days of red blood, very light. Not sure how that will be affecting things either. Its making me so anxious and I just feel like my GP just isn't interested.

My GP told me to count the first day of full bleeding as day 1 for the blood test xx

Hey, just wondering if you managed to get any answers from your GP yet. How is the Vitamin C working for you?
