Clearblue connected and non connected

I used a clearblue ovulation test with the reader this morning and it was flashing but it was my last strip, so I decided to buy the Bluetooth one. And I tested again this morning just a couple of hours later and the Bluetooth one was just an empty circle, could this have been because it wasn’t the first wee? I have tested again this evening and it's the same again...which one should I follow🥲

@baabiee
When you use a new holder it has to adjust to your baseline levels, at least that's my understanding. This is how it works out when you have an estrogen rise and then your LH Surge and why you are asked to start testing on a particular day of your cycle, so that it monitors the rise effectively. I'm sure the instructions advise you to keep using your current holder until the end of your current testing cycle even if you need to buy and use new sticks with it. You then link your new holder for the first testing day of the following cycle.

Your new stick that you've used for your second test will take your current levels as a baseline for your first testing day which may make it more difficult for it to pick up your high fertility days before your lh surge/peak in future cycles if you've already had a flashing smiley on the non Bluetooth test.

I'd take your first test reading as accurate and maybe make a wee call to the customer service line to see what their advice is on using the new holder/it's accuracy going forward x

That makes total sense I'd not even thought about that! Because according to the clear blue app today is my day to test.
So I'll stick with the non connected for now and then use the connected on my next cycle if required! I will give them a call though thanks so much
