How long?!

Hello guys,

so after my doctor suspecting an eptopic pregnancy and scans at 4.5 showing nothing anywhere and a HCG level of 72 I’ve been having bloods taken every few days.
72, 67, 62.
i would be 5.6 weeks pregnant today.
I have more bloods tomorrow AM and again Thursday AM.
I just wonder how long will this go on and why haven’t I started bleeding yet. I’m finding the whole process quite traumatic tbh.

Yours seem to be coming down quite slow.
Have the mentioned anything at all on what they expect to see?
I had a CP and it took a week to come down

Hi @Sunflowerbby I'm so sorry to hear this. I went through the same thing 8 weeks ago. They gave me methotrexate injections, have they offered this to you? May be worth asking for it if nothing happens. Sending lots of love x

@Sunflowerbby I’m so sorry, sometimes the hardest bit is the time it takes to resolve. Hope your results go down soon so you can start your healing process

Thanks guys for your support it means a lot when I feel so very alone.

They haven't offered me anything. Still not bleeding and it's so upsetting. If no developments by the end of the week I'll ask for something I guess. I'm worried about infection. I'm scared of the injection because I think that puts trying on hold for 6 months ?
Does anybody know ?

@Sunflowerbby it's 3 months of no trying with injection. I know that seems like forever but it was a much better option than potentially losing a tube (for me anyway). Worth asking what your options are??

@Sunflowerbby one injection should be 3 months. It sounds like they might be waiting to see if it resolves on its own? Fingers crossed the levels drop for you x

My period arrived today in full force with extremely painful cramps. I take this as a good sign that my body has finally let go.
