congratulations @SLCxxx!!! So excited for you! @Annny27 that flipping football... Hahaha let's face it dtd this month is not going to be slow and romantic when kick off is at 8pm 🙈 @lovelylittlesunflower welcome - I'm sorry for your loss. We've all been there and can empathise/cry/laugh with you when you need it. I had my mc in march at 10 weeks. Hope you are holding up and have a strong support network around you - that's so important. ♥️

lovelylittlesunflower · 20/06/2021 15:09

Thank you everyone so much. Was just such a huge and unexpected shock. Was traumatic and I haemorrhaged. I'm ok now. Covered in bruises from them trying to get cannulas in. I don't know what I expected, just not this.

kiwi17 · 20/06/2021 15:38

@lovelylittlesunflower that sounds so horrid and traumatic. I hope you've been able to talk to someone about what you went through? I'm sorry. A mc is so damaging mentally and can be physically too so it's so important that you look after yourself. How are you feeling about it all now?

SLCxxx · 20/06/2021 16:20

Thank you @Annny27 @Babyghirl @kiwi17, I’m so used to seeing other ppl posting BFPs that I didn’t think it would happen for me! Feeling nervous which I guess is natural. Let’s see if I manage to keep this one.

@lovelylittlesunflower I’m so sorry for your loss, and your experience. Can be really hard to pick yourself up sometimes but this group is amazing support when you need it xx

Thanks, it was. It shocked me. The miscarriage association have been brilliant, lots of support and my partner is with me. I really appreciate you all welcoming me in and letting me vent.

Yep, it really helps letting me pop in like this. Thank you 🙏🏻
Annny27 · 20/06/2021 17:56

@lovelylittlesunflower sounds very similar to mine, lost too much blood and had to have emergency surgery and spent 2 nights in hospital - was quite traumatic! But I am at the other side now and have gotten through it emotionally from the media al shock aspect anyway!

@SLCxxx fingers crossed! Any symptoms?

@babyghirl are you taking your vitamin D now?

@kiwi17 after ttc for 2 years sex isnt romantic anymore anyway hahaha

@Annny27
It horrid 😂😂😂😂 smells and tastes like the dentist rotton she give me the powder u add to water cause you get the lot but with tablets it takes a while for them to break down and you don't get the whole iu that's in them so I have to stick with it lol.
@lovelylittlesunflower
My first loss was bad to had to be kept in hospital with blood loss clots was getting stuck in my cervix so they had to remove them all the time to ease the bleeding. Does not seem like it now but it does get easier to cope with but be kind to yourself and cry if you need to 💚

Miscarriage39 · 20/06/2021 18:59

Congratulations SLCxxx. I have absolutely everything crossed for you that this one is sticky.

Sorry you are going through this lovelylittlesunflower. I had a similar-ish experience but following a MMC detected at 12 weeks - lost huge amount of blood, surgeries. It a real shock on top of everything else, isn’t it?!. Glad your DH is being supportive and the Miscarriage Association have been helpful. Everyone on here is super friendly and I hope you find being here helpful.

We saw a friend yesterday and although they didn’t say anything, both DH and I are convinced she is pregnant. I hate myself for it, but I came away feeling so resentful, even though we don’t know for sure that she actually is. That feels really warped, but I can’t seem to let it go!

kiwi17 · 20/06/2021 19:56

@Annny27 this is very true 😂 @Miscarriage39 owh that's upsetting for you. I know what you mean though - I noticed another teacher at school with a bump the other day and I'm fairly sure she's pg which automatically makes me resent her which is so unfair! Think it's natural though to be a bit jealous.. 🤞 it will be us soon 😊

Babyghirl · 20/06/2021 20:21

@miscarriage39
@kiwi17
I'm with yas on that one I hate pregnant women and seeing babies it's only natural thou, so don't feel awful for it my bro wrote on r family chat today his partner had a scam and see 6 weeks 5th baby fuck I hate how easy it is for her and resent her so much time to leave family chat and steer clear from her rant over 😂😂😂😂😂

It's absolutely shocking how bad it was. I don't know whether it's my ignorance or if my experience was a bad one. I don't know. I really appreciate all the support here. Desperate to start trying again but worried my partner is a bit scared after what we went through. Looking forward to moving on from this now.
lovelylittlesunflower · 21/06/2021 09:15

I also feel a bit upset that my midwife hasn't called to say she's aware what's happened, or just some acknowledgment. Just nothing at all.
Just feels so cold. She definitely knew.

Annny27 · 21/06/2021 09:42

@lovelylittlesunflower I wouldnt expect much from the midwives, mine called me asking why I hadnt turned up to my 16 weeks appointment....I reminded them it's because I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks haha!

@lovelylittlesunflower
I have had 4 and with 3 of them the after care was shocking after my first miscarriage I lost at 10 5 weeks I got a txt the day before my 12 week scan to remind me of it, even thou I was in hospital with it over night 💚
