Coil Removal and long period!

Hi there, was looking for some advice. I had a Kyleena 19.5mg of hormone coil removed in February ( I had it in for just under 2 years), I had it removed with the view to TTC our third soon as periods returned.
March I had a light period.
April, one week late on a period but in the end it showed up and have now been on my period for 2.5 weeks with no signs of it stopping either.

I spoke with my GP and she has said she would like to see me Monday to do a swab, blood test and possible ultrasound. Im usually a level headed kind of person but I am really freaking out about this.

Has anyone been in a similiar predicament?
Does it sound like my body is trying to regulate itself. Despite getting my periods back, should I just wait for some kind of pattern with them all?
Would prolonged bleeding indicate a hormonal problem?

We concieved our children first cylces each time. ( We were lucky) and I have this fear that the third is going to take a while to concieve if I can't get back into a suitable cycle. As obviously it makes it harder to determine fertile window.

Anyone with any similiar experience/history would be grateful for feedback.
Thanks !

Hi there, can I ask if your cycle went back to normal? I'm in a similar boat having had my Kyleena out in early June. Have only had one period and waiting for the next to show up!
