To cut a long story short, I had what I think was a chemical pregnant last month, 4 days of spotting 2 days of full blown af followed by 2 more days of spotting. I had a very faint line on a boots own brand but because they are blue dye I know it could have been an evap! I didn't get chance to take another test before I started bleeding.

Because of last month I'm not really sure when I should have expected af this month as I dont really track my cycles, only been ttc for a few months and didn't want to get to obsessive straight away. I've already got a DS.

If I go by last month's spotting, then af is 4 days late, if I go by full flow then af is due today. 4 days ago I had what can only be described as painful pulling and pinching right at the bottom of my stomach and a subtle ache on my left side. Only lasted 2 days, went away and hasn't come back.
I have no signs of af coming at all.
I've not really felt myself this past week, nausea on and off, lots of white cm and for the first time, car sickness when I drive! Basically just a general feeling of feeling off.

I felt so odd yesterday so I took an Internet cheapie that came back very negative and then the last frer I had left with second morning urine, frer had a very faint, unable to see on a pic line! As I was so unsure I went and got more tests but accidently picked up the First Resonse rapid tests! I took one anyway after a couple of hour urine hold and there was definitely a stronger pink line within the time and it's still visible this morning.

This morning I took another frer although I got a line its still very very faint, I took an asda digital which is the same sensitivity as the rapid response and it says "not pregnant" and I took another cheapie which is stark white, no hint of a line!

So what's going on? I assumed that as af would have been due today, I would have had a stronger line this morning? And why is it only showing on a frer and not on any others? Surely I cant have only just conceived if af is only just due? Confused

If you can, try to take a deep breath and relax! It's really difficult when your body is giving you so many mixed signals but all the tests have different sensitivities so it's quite possible that it's too early for any of them to give you even a faint positive yet. Do you have any idea when you might have ovulated? :)

Despite what the boxes might say, the FRER is the only test that's really likely to give you any kind of result this early so I wouldn't waste your time with the other tests until you're at least a few days late waiting for AF.

If you're able to, try to step away from the tests for a day or two and get a break from the testing as that much testing is very stressful! When you do come to re-test, use a FRER on morning urine to ensure give you the best chance at an accurate result. I know it's hard though and easier said than done lol :)

I have everything crossed for a confirmed BFP ! x

I feel you @Idontneedausername!

I had a CP last cycle too. Got my hopes up yesterday as I got a faint but definite line on a cheapie sensitive test yesterday - BUT the line appeared after about half an hour! So not in the window, but a pink and definite line nonetheless.

Tried an FRER this morning which is my first time trying these tests. Negative 😢. I'm 12 dpo and AF due tomorrow! Hoping I'm not out yet. I had a MC in December and I got a bfp on 13 dpo on a clear blue early detection but I know the FRER are supposed to be more sensitive!

Planning on doing another tomorrow morning. Would love to hear how you get on.

@Sarie24 - Thank you, I do need to relax but its just so hard, it would have been easier just to have have stark white negative instead of all this guessing! Unfortunately I don't have any idea when I ovulated, I decided to try to do the relax approach this month after last month but as you can tell that didn't quite work lol. Going by the app on my phone the latest I could have ovulated is 12th April, if I don't count the spotting before AF last month. I only tested because I feel so off and because of those weird pains I had a few days ago! No idea how long I can cope not testing again but I'll try to wait at least until tomorrow morning...

@MessyBob89 I'm sorry you are going through this too, it's such a difficult time isn't it? I have no advice other than to be patient, I should really listen to that advice myself to be fair!! I'll test again in the morning if I can wait that long and I'll keep you updated Smile hoping you get your much wanted BFP. Good luck.

@Idontneedausername it is so hard haha, I needn't talk really, I know at the end of my TWW I'm going to be testing and panicking too - it's funny how we all know what we're supposed to do but can't take our own advice Grin

If you possibly had a CP last month and have taken a relaxed approach this month then I guess timings are pretty uncertain this month for you; if you did ovulate around April 12th then that does mean it's pretty early for testing, especially for anything other than the FRER, so I have everything crossed to hear about your BFP soon :)

If the weather is as nice there as it is here today, hopefully you can get a bit of sun and take your mind off things for the day :)
