Advice Please

I’m looking for a bit of advice to put my mind at ease please!

I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. I took the same brand of test this morning and got a faint line but you could still see it was a line. It was a clearblue early detection test and I’ve read a few posts about them being bad for evap lines. I’m not really sure how to tell but the line came up within the timeframe and was definitely blue. At the same time as well I’ve started having very light bleeding today. It’s not spotting or anything - literally just when I wipe after going to the bathroom. AF is due tomorrow so I’m worried this could be the start of it and it could have been an evap or chemical? I don’t normally get any spotting before AF so this is unusual.

I know the easiest answer is just to wait and test again or see if AF arrives but I’m just looking for some reassurance really.

I couldn’t help myself, I had to test again this morning and got another faint positive. I’ve attached a photo this time.

The bleeding hasn’t got any heavier so I’m wondering if it could be implantation spotting - has anyone experienced this before?

Are you able to get a FRER? That should give you a clear answer xx

I can definitely see a faint line but as the others have said, a FRER would likely give you a clear answer - especially if the CB is showing up a faint line :) x

Thank you - will try to get my hands on a frer! Unfortunately seems like everyone on Amazon is getting sent fakes so might have to try somewhere else!

What was the thing about fake FRER? I tried one for the first time this morning and was negative which was surprising/disappointing as I got a faint line yesterday on a cheapie! So had really got my hopes up. My FRER were from. Amazon

Hey @MessyBob89 I just read a few recent reviews were people had received fakes. They said the packaging was different and there was a different logo on the tests so not sure if you noticed yours were any different!

I had a digital that I was saving for next week but caved. Good news is they weren’t evap lines! Now I just have to hope and pray the bleeding doesn’t get any heavier!

I've never had an FRER before so not sure how to spot a fake.

Realised I had more tests in the bathroom than I thought so just tried a clear blue early detection - bfn. However, also from same sample tried an ic opk as I heard they could also detect pregnancy and my ic pg test yesterday was my last one. Faint line at 3 mins! Not sure what to think but guess I'll try another FRER in the morning. If that's bfn too I'm having a few glasses of wine in the sunshine tomorrow!

@MessyBob89 hopefully you’re just a bit early! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@MessyBob89 the OPKs would be blazing for pg if it was to work - people nearly always have a faint line throughout their cycle otherwise.

@Juno231ah right really, I have only ever seen a faint line 2-3 days around ovulation, I generally get stark nothing outside of that. But I have heard it said that lh can surge just before af too.
