Partial Molar

Hi

Just looking for others who have had a partial molar pregnancy.

I had a mmc at 8 and half weeks, at the scan they said the placenta looked cystic and flagged up the possibility of a molar pregnancy.

I had a d&c 4 weeks ago and the tissue was sent off for testing.

I did a pregnancy test 3 weeks later and it came up positive very quickly and strongly, I wasn’t expecting that after 3 weeks I would have thought the line would have at least faded, but know high hcg levels are normal with any type of molar pregnancy. So this got me worrying and I’ve been calling the hospital for the last week to chase things up.
They said my histology report came back and it mentions molar but that it would need to be confirmed by my consultant who I’m seeing next week.

By then it will be almost 6 weeks post op with no monitoring or bloods taken, no one has called me or wrote to me, I’ve had to call the hospital just to find out if any results have come back, is this normal?

I feel like if molar is mentioned from the start they should have had me in for bloods regularly and monitoring me.

It’s frustrating to think of the long road ahead.
