Desperate line eyes? Please?

I took this by chance just because I was feeling a bit tired. Had sex ten days ago, but my cycles are anywhere from 30-80 days long so I’m never reliably able to track my cycles.

This was after about five minutes (looked negative straight away, went to brush teeth, came back). Evap or positive?

Yes within that time frame

If that was taken after 5 mins it's a positive! Those tests do get evaps but in my experience it's at least an hour later when they have properly dried. Congratulations xxx

I just took this - the only thing I could get hold of is a cheap corner shop test and I’d say it’s negative. Must have been an evap.
Ah well, it was a nice hour.

Maybe that one just isn't as sensitive? At best you would be 10DPO. a less sensitive test might not come up!

If you're that early then it could well be that the first test is right but the second isn't as sensitive or your wee wasn't as concentrated. I spent 8 years taking hundreds of pregnancy tests and the evap line would only appear usually way longer than 5 minutes if it appeared at all. Don't despair yet.

@LadyHalesBroach I have had two very faint lines on frer tests yet had two of these from
Bodycare and nothing has shown up on them. Took them yesterday and the day before and can now see very faint evap lines (I know I shouldn't be looking but can't help myself). I would try frer x

thank you everyone... i'm just tucking into a jam doughnut to help ease the fact i'm feeling actually quite bummed out about it. It was such a whim to take it but for an hour it was, to me, positive.

I'll see if I can run out today and get a frer and maybe try again tomorrow morning or day after.

Just to update that I have been to Boots and bought alllll the tests - digital, frer, cheap, expensive - and all of them are a resounding positive. BOOM!

Yay! I was about to suggest to keep going as the first one looked pretty positive!
