Could I be pregnant? Advice please

Hi,

I'm not currently ttc but I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms for about the last week. Sickness, sore boobs, funny taste in the mouth, tugging pains in tummy etc. I think I ovulated around the 8th of April. My period is due on Thursday, I haven't had any of my usual pmt symptoms. I have taken a couple of cheap tests and 2 frer and all were negative. I've woken up today and my boobs are no longer sore. Do you think there is any chance I could be pregnant or would those tests have shown a bfp already?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You might not get a bfp until your period is due if you had unprotected sex around the time of ovulation there is a chance but unfortunately you won't know until you get a positive test or your period

If you are not TTC and have had 4 negative tests then it sounds very unlikely you are pregnant. I hope you get whatever result you are hoping for x

Some people don’t get positive tests until the day of AF. Maybe wait it out or test again on the day of if it doesn’t arrive?

Thank you, I've woken up today and all the symptoms are back. Don't know whether it is just my mind playing tricks on me. I think I'll just wait it out and see if AF arrives. 😊

So my af was due yesterday but no show, not here today so far either. I'm wondering whether I could have ovulated later than my period tracker app estimates as I am not actively ttc so therefore not tracking properly. I have no signs of AF coming and just a horrible taste in my mouth but tried a cheapie test this morning and still bfn. Is anyone else in the same situation, it's driving me mad the not knowing! Xx

Hi Carly , your symptoms are very much like mine and I’m now 3 weeks pregnant, I had very early cramps back ache only slightly sore boobs nausea and the metallic taste . The smell of food especially meat makes me gag !
Maybe give it another week and test again . I know you wasn’t ttc but it’s the not knowing that drives you nuts!

Aww congratulations and thank you for replying. Very similar to how I've been, this taste in my mouth is awful, can't get rid of it no matter what I do! Yeah it's just taking over my mind at the moment, trying to stop myself taking tests and just keep myself distracted. It's strange because I wasn't ttc but now the thought is there it's making me broody! Funny how the mind works isn't it lol x
