Anyone else 3dpo? When do you suggest the best time to test is? I have some frer’s and some ic’s and I honestly think I won’t be able to get through the weekend without testing 😫🤣

feliznavidad2 · 08/06/2021 21:11

Ooh that does sound positive @extrababydust123

How are you @Bundaberg84? :)

extrababydust123 · 08/06/2021 21:44

Thanks everyone! Fingers crossed we have some more BFP’s to report this month 😁🤞🏽

@feliznavidad2 thank you, holding in there! Have a second appointment tomorrow as I'm bleeding kinda constantly. Hcg levels look good though. No idea what to think of it 🤷‍♀️🤞

feliznavidad2 · 09/06/2021 08:02

@Bundaberg84 fingers are tightly crossed for you, I bled often pretty much all the way through the 1st trimester and half of 2nd trimester with DS1 - so bloody stressful but he's absolutely fine. Hope you're being kind to yourself, it's such an emotional time. x

extrababydust123 · 10/06/2021 13:02

How is everyone getting on? 😊

Hi girls I just thought I’d share my story I posted here a few weeks ago at 8 weeks pregnant as I was getting spotting everything looked perfect with a strong heartbeat then I continued to spot and I called the hospital and they said that an internal ultrasound can cause spotting... fast forward 2 weeks of on off spotting pink and brown I got bright red spotting with little tiny clots so I booked another scan today and the outcome wasn’t good the baby died a few days ago I’m so sad but part of me is relieved as the spotting was so emotionally draining and such a worry everyday and then to be told it’s not a concern to spot during the first trimester! I think deep down I knew something wasn’t right and I would miscarry. I’m back on here because I will be ttc again as soon as I can with all you lovely ladies! I can’t believe I have now had 2 mcs in a row but I believe everything happens for a reason and third time lucky and I gave my gorgeous little boy as proof that my body can carry a baby to term! It’s heartbreaking but we are all in this together! Xx

feliznavidad2 · 10/06/2021 23:09

I'm sorry to hear that @FinnsMammy - will keep an eye out for when you're back with us. Take care, be kind to yourself. x

@extrababydust123 I've had a bit of a bug but luckily think covered the bases with DTD 🤞🏻 as the bug didn't start until just before ovulation - it must have known! 😆 I'm feeling much better now though, was a 48 hour thing.

Goodness knows what it'll mean for ovulation timings or whatever but the OPK seem to think my peak has been and passed. 🤷‍♀️

How are you lovely? x

FinnsMammy · 11/06/2021 14:49

@Bundaberg84 I really hope your outcome is different to mine I basically spotted my whole 10 weeks pregnancy and kept been told it was hormonal bleeding that I had a sensitive cervix and normal for me even now when I know my baby has passed away inside me I’m still only getting the faintest of spotting. I have researched this a lot in the past few weeks and the truth is you have a 50/50 chance when you spot . I saw a heartbeat and healthy baby at 8 weeks I thought I was home and dry but it wasn’t to be. I really do hope you are the on the other side of the 50 as I wouldn’t wish the pain of a miscarriage on my worst enemy but just protect yourself and trust your gut! Spotting is common but it’s not normal and you know your body better than anyone else. Best of luck xx I know how scary it is! Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious.

FinnsMammy · 11/06/2021 14:50

Thanks @feliznavidad2 x

Bundaberg84 · 11/06/2021 18:07

@FinnsMammy thank you! Unfortunately though I'm also on the other 50%. Currently in the hospital waiting for surgery as it's an ectopic and sitting in my right tube. At least they catched it before it ruptured. And yes, always trust your got instinct. If I waited until week 8 for my first check up it would have been dangerous.

feliznavidad2 · 11/06/2021 18:54

Oh @Bundaberg84 - I'm so sorry. Hope you manage to have surgery quickly and recover well. Here if you wanna chat anytime. x

FinnsMammy · 11/06/2021 21:10

@Bundaberg84 sorry to hear that. I hope you we doing ok and recover well. Lucky you caught that early xx

Bundaberg84 · 11/06/2021 22:50

You're do lovely thank you! All went well, I'm good and happy to have a room for myself and it's quiet, I will be able to rest I'm sure. Thank you again for thinking of me, I'm certain thinks like that have a positive effect!❤️

extrababydust123 · 11/06/2021 22:55

@FinnsMammy @Bundaberg84 I am so sorry to hear this guys, I cannot imagine how heartbreaking and thank god you listened to your gut 😢 you are both super strong ladies and I can’t wait until we have our success stories 💗

@feliznavidad2 I’m glad your bug has passed, I’m sure it won’t affect anything 🥰 what dpo are you now? I’m 3 dpo today, and finally not ridiculously symptom spotting! Just taking a chilled approach and hoping for the best, it’ll happen when it’s meant to 😊

OP posts:
feliznavidad2 · 14/06/2021 07:34

5dpo @extrababydust123 how about you? Trying not to symptom spot...

extrababydust123 · 14/06/2021 14:35

@feliznavidad2 I’m 6dpo today! I haven’t tested yet which is amazing for me 🤣 and although I keep thinking in my head that every change in my body could be pregnancy, I keep bringing myself back to reality and saying it to myself that my body wouldn’t possibly know by now as implantation wouldn’t have happened. So I’m doing pretty well at keeping chill! I think I’ll test Wednesday at 8dpo and then probably every morning onwards 😂 when are you hoping to test? X

OP posts:
extrababydust123 · 14/06/2021 14:59

A strange probably not pregnancy symptom I had this morning was waking up with a chest ache, it’s like underneath my boobs and actually hurts! I’m kind of putting this here to look back on probably next cycle (hopefully not) when I’m still trying, but I’ve never had this before and isn’t necessarily my boobs hurting, it’s like behind them.. weird! I’ve developed back pain and an extreme headache during the day since then, hopefully means something 🤷🏽‍♀️🥺

OP posts:
feliznavidad2 · 14/06/2021 19:03

Oooh! That does sound intriguing @extrababydust123 and the back pain/headache combo. 🤔

I had a tiny bit of spotting last night but am only 5dpo so don't really know, not getting excited. Feel normal apart from that. God knows what all my weird reflux symptoms were last month. 😆

extrababydust123 · 14/06/2021 19:26

@feliznavidad2 probably over thinking but they were real at the time! 😂

And the spotting is a great sign! You could’ve ovulated really quickly after your peak and be around 6dpo rather than 5 and implanted 🤷🏽‍♀️ Fingers crossed!

OP posts:
feliznavidad2 · 15/06/2021 08:31

Hmm, I am trying to remain calmer for longer this cycle. @extrababydust123
Good work on the keeping chill lovely, we've got this. 👊

extrababydust123 · 15/06/2021 14:59

@feliznavidad2 while I am remaining calm I will definitely be testing tomorrow morning at 8dpo, I just can’t stop myself 😂 not much to report today apart from this awful headache that has returned today! How are you feeling?

OP posts:
Bundaberg84 · 15/06/2021 15:17

@extrababydust123 and @feliznavidad2 still following and crossing fingers for you!

extrababydust123 · 15/06/2021 18:06

@Bundaberg84 thank you lovely, you’re still in my thoughts also hope everything’s going okay and you’ll be back updating us on this thread very soon ❤️
