3dpo, 1st cycle. TWW with me?

Anyone else 3dpo? When do you suggest the best time to test is? I have some frer’s and some ic’s and I honestly think I won’t be able to get through the weekend without testing 😫🤣

@extrababydust123 I'm like you then. Just wanna know if yes or no, and I can deal with that.
I know. And even though I knew it's not likely to get pregnant right away, I wasn't aware how draining it is. But I'm still positive. I just think a month to wait is a very long time.

@bexboo1 no, don't stress yourself like that! Every pregnancy is different! And there arw so many reasons why a line is darker or lighter. Different brand, different batch, you were more or less hydrated etc

Sorry to hear about your BFN @extrababydust123 😔 it's so blimmin' disappointing isn't it? Even when you're sort of expecting it. Good idea thinking about the next cycle and your 'game plan' 😎 😆 I will be doing the same I think!

Still totally unsure what is going on here, still spotting but it's nothing like my normal period (thanks to the endometriosis, it's usually really heavy flow with big clots and I use tampons and pads at the same time some days but this is only brown discharge on wiping?! With the odd bit of pink/red staining.) I'm really crampy though.

Maybe it's just my body confused by first proper cycle off contraception (albeit my withdrawal bleed 44 days after the pill was pretty text book.) I have no idea. 🤷‍♀️

I did remember earlier though that I bled a lot when preggo with DS1, and had an early scan because of it as was worried that it was the end at 4-5 weeks - this may just be wishful thinking though. 🥴

These are my tests from today, I've been shopping to sainsburys and clear blue have now brought out an early detection digital that is sensitive to 10mIU, never seen them anywhere else £16 for 2 🤪! The end lights up and flashes apparently, so I have one of those for in the morning I'll let you all know what it says x

@feliznavidad2 that does sound really strange I wonder what’s going on! Are you going to wait for AF or test again? It’s awful not knowing isn’t it! I just want AF to arrive now, I’m not doing anymore tests! X

I think I'm out, have got a bit more red bloody discharge this morning. I can only think that it's a weird period as first month TTC and I came off the pill mid March so I guess it's my first proper period after my delayed withdrawal bleed...

My other 'symptoms' have gone, haha, except bloating which I think is just progesterone related.

So I’ve started spotting today and pretty sure I’m going to get AF in full swing by the end of today or tomorrow, no idea why as I’m only 12dpo. This means my luteal phase is really short doesn’t it? Will that affect my chances of getting pregnant?

Which means my cycle was only 24 days this month? That’s stressing me out 😫😫 ahhh

@extrababydust123 It looks like there's varying definitions of what a short luteal phase is. Some things say less than 8 days, some say less than 10 or 11 days. You're already on day 12 and AF hasn't started yet (as I'm sure you're meant to count CD1 from when actual bleeding begins rather than spotting) so in that respect, you're within normal ish parameters?! X

@feliznavidad2 thank you for the reassurance ❤️ I did a little google and it seems 8 and less is considered short, so I think I’m ok for now. Wow I can’t wait to get my bfp so that I don’t have to stress about length of cycles and testing etc anymore 😂

Keep us updated on your situation too, are you classing things as a new cycle now? X

12 isn't short @extrababydust123, and implantation can happen at 12dpo, who knows :)
My cramps from yesterday seems to have vanished. I'm confused. Weird belly, but I think I'm just nervous now. My fertility monitor tells me I can test now, but I haven't. It predicted my AF due date Friday, not Thursday, so I'll hold up!

@feliznavidad2 I wonder what’s going on! Hopefully some strange implantation for both of us but who knows 🤣

@Bundaberg84 I was a little worried as I’d never spotted so early but after a google and a chat with you guys I’m fine about it! 😊 I still think it’s definitely AF coming because it was light pink, not brown like most peoples implantation but it seems to have stopped now so who knows! I honestly don’t know how you’ve not tested yet, I’m so excited for you to and hopefully get your bfp!! 🤞🏽

@extrababydust123 I honestly think at this point it's mostly out of fear haha! No but seriously, I just don't want to see a negative and have to think it could turn out into a positive. At 11dpo, it's still a more than 20% chance to get a false negative. At 13dpo 10%, and from then on the result is almost 100% certain.
And I love your mindset. "Prepare for the worst, hope for the best".

I've come to the conclusion that whatever it's going to be, it's going to be and I don't have any control over it whatsoever. I think in my heart of hearts, it's probably just a skewiff period but would be very happy (obvs) if it isn't.

TTC baby number 2 although I've had 2 miscarriages before my son so I'm nervous as hell again. I think I'm first day past ovulation as I had strong positives yesterday then last night had pains and now the tests are fading.

@feliznavidad2 you're right. I have to accept it as well, it's beyond our control and testing too early isn't going to change the outcome in any way.

@chelsea93lucas welcome :) I'm ttc number 2 as well. So you're in the tww too. I'm 10dpo today.
I'm due af on Sunday 🙏🏻 this is our month. It's so disheartening every month. I'm pretty certain I confirmed ovulation with both bbt charting and clearblue monitor which showed my high/peak days.
Hope everyone is ok. We all say it to each other and never take the advice ourselves but not out til af arrives 🤞 x

Blatantly symptom spotting despite thinking I'm out... I got really angsty when DS1 was touching my arms/neck at bedtime. Obviously didn't say anything as the poor soul would have felt sad but I've never felt like 'uhhh just stop touching me' but just really didn't like it. Weird. Also think my areolas look bigger than usual. not sure if imagining things. OH would laugh if I told him.
