3dpo, 1st cycle. TWW with me?

Anyone else 3dpo? When do you suggest the best time to test is? I have some frer’s and some ic’s and I honestly think I won’t be able to get through the weekend without testing 😫🤣

Well my easy @ home tests just arrived and I’ve officially lost the plot by testing at 5dpo using my 9th pee of the day 🤣 honestly what a waste hahaha

I've got some easy@home tests ready too! Not buying FRER until closer to the time, will help me resist the temptation 🤞🏻

@feliznavidad2 what are the checks? Yes, seems like you covered your bases as well :) here's mine - our AF is due on the same date!

@Bundaberg84 I just googled it, it says the tick is there if you've recorded symptoms or anything other than OPK/BBT (I didn't record BBT but did use OPK for the first time.)

Doing my bbt now too and no rise yet. Just another thing to worry about 🤦🏻‍♀️

@feliznavidad2 I have a frer left from last month, but that’s why I buy the ic’s so I don’t waste that too early! 😂

@Emsjourney I don’t really understand bbt, are you supposed to have a rise after ovulation?

@extrababydust123 yeh from what I understand you have a rise after ovulation which is usually where you can confirm ovulation occurred. It stays elevated until before af then drops back down or stays elevated if you're pregnant. Only my first month doing it. Don't know if it's worth the hassle but I wanted to check I was ovulating. Hoping there's an increase tomorrow 😞

I don't do bbt, but I have a fitbit that measures the temp from my wrist. It's not nearly as accuarate though. But almost every month I had a drop of temperature a day before AF arrived. And when I was pregnant in February, the temp stayed above the line for a whole week. But as soon as I wear a shirt to sleep or leave the window open, it will have an impact. I try not to look at the temp stats anymore :) But my heart rate went up since ovulation. That could also be a sign that you ovulated. And it will stay higher until AF arrived.

I really hope so I’m not sure how many more months I can do this for, I can hardly sleep in the TWW as this is all that’s on my mind, last night I really struggled because I literally cannot stop thinking about falling pregnant 😖 and then I have to have a nap in the afternoons because I’m exhausted 😂

@extrababydust123 exact same 😫 this is our 8th cycle and I've only really felt like this the past 2. Think I just thought it would happen sooner

Just checking in, my ovulation is next week. Cycle 4... I'm at the stage where I'm convinced I'll be on these boards for a verrrryyy long time 😅 I tried to use opks last months but not even a control line was showing so I might buy a digital one later.

It's funny when I started trying I was full of hope and excitement and feeling 'I can be pregnant any day now!' to now just nor expecting it and not having any excitement, just going through motions of TWW, ovulation.... waiting for at... doing a test that's another bfn... and so on 😂🥲

I'm honestly not sure what is going on with me. Maybe it's just my body getting used to having a normal cycle whilst not being on the contraceptive pill?! 😬 I'm only 5dpo but it isn't all in my head, could just be that damn progesterone(!)

I'm shattered, really bloated, constipated and a bit reflux-y, (TMI warning!) to the point I had a bit of a sick come up when I hiccuped this morning. 🤢

If this isn't my month then we're in trouble as I'm gonna be a bloody joy TTC with this every month.

@Veronika13 cycle 4 is still so early, stay positive! Lots of bd’ing to be done in the next week so just enjoy it 🥰 I think it could be a good thing that you don’t get exciting and imagine all the symptoms etc anymore as that sets you up for disappointment if it isn’t bfp. I wish I could chill out a little and not convince myself I’m definitely pregnant 😅 hoping this is your month ❤️

@feliznavidad2 honestly I’ve had all of the same symptoms and I believe I had some of them last month this early on also so I think it is a mix of ovulation and progesterone as much as I’d love to say it’s because I’m pregnant 🤣 but fingers crossed it’s a good sign!

I’ve realised on the premom app it says I’m only 5dpo, I thought I was 6dpo as I thought you counted 1dpo from the day after your peak, but premom has counted ovulation day as the day after my peak. So I think I’m only 5dpo? Which makes all of my symptom spotting and the fact I tested yesterday even worse 😂

Oh god I think I need to put the tests away until next week because realistically I could be 2dpo for all I know 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 at least we are at a similar stage and can go through the motions together and compare symptoms! And hopefully get BFP’s together 🤞🏽

I actually calculated when my (imaginary) baby would be born if I conceived on my first month in feb! And keep thinking of that date, and when it comes I'd be thinking my baby would be born then! I need help 🤣

@Veronika13 haha that’s amazing, I’ve just checked mine and if I was pregnant this cycle, I’d be due 5th Feb 2022 😁 hope I haven’t jinxed it 😂

I am a bottomless pit today, I’ve eaten my lunch and 1000 snacks and still hungry 😂😂 hopefully a good sign but I’m sure I’m just potential pregnancy as a reason to eat like a horse 😂

@extrababydust123 Ovulation usually occurs within24-36 hours after the peak, so the app counts the day after the peak as ovulation day. DPO is counted from the first day AFTER ovulation.
