i had ds1 in june this year, but am really broody & dh&i would like to try for baby number 2 asap.
problem is, af has not paid me a visit (am not pg tho, numerous hpts have been done!!). i'm not breast feeding now, did for first 5 weeks. when should af start coming again? i know it can take some time...but is 5/6 months too long?
any advice?

well 5/6 months is not that long at all as its usually a year and plus you havent had your baby that long so it takes time for your body to adjust it back to normal. Have u been back on the pill since youve had DS?

Would speak to your GP about this matter.

Sometimes hormonal imbalances are the root cause behind absent periods; your GP may want to do a blood test to see what your hormone levels are like.

If your not bfing then 5 or 6 months is a long time to wait for AF.. Mine was back with a vengance at 5 weeks !

it was 13 months before i got af after having DD and i wasnt using any protection
