Any tips on how to concieve a boy?

Obviously would love my child regardless so no judgement please. Any tips from you boy mums on what you did to concieve your boy?

Have you got a link to the one you used? There seem to be lots of different ones. Did you change anything else or just follow the calender?

Theres that shettles technique apparently where you time the conception as its all to do with boy sperm being quicker and girl sperm living longer or something.. i dont know the details but google it. Good luck

It's timing - have sex before you ovulate and don't bother afterwards (I think)

I have a friend who used the shettles method because they wanted a girl after two boys and it worked for them. Worth a try I suppose.

I'm fairly certain that I conceived all three of my children on the day I ovulated. Coincidentally, all of them are boys.

That’s true, but supposedly XY sperm swim faster but don’t last as long, whereas XX sperm are slower but hang around, so in theory if you know for certain when you’re ovulating you can time sex to increase the chances of one or the other reaching the egg.

Lots and lots of sex, all the time = 4 Boys. Always wanted a girl but never happened...but I'm happy with my brood as they are all healthy and lovely

That shettles theory has been debunked. I don't think anything can ensure you get the sex you want - after all, if that was possible there wouldn't have historically been issues around it (eg kings wanting and failing to have heirs, China one-child policy where boys were favoured etc.). I think the only trend that has been noted is during times of famine, more girls are born!

I don't think a Chinese gender chart works do you? Lots of poor Chinese babies who are girls can attest to that.

How on earth do you know it was the Chinese gender chart that made you have boys? It was just chance.
