TWW buddies?

Just started my TWW, 1dpo today I think as I had my static smiley on Tuesday. We dtd on Friday and Saturday and twice on Sunday so hopefully I can still have a chance. DP is away so was unable to dtd since then. I'm only on cycle 2 of ttc but I am so impatient. Anyone else in the tww?

Also have endometriosis and have had a couple of miscarriages in the past so I am worried about how long it might take to conceive. Fingers crossed it happens soon.

Anyone???

Hi @LovelyLion3 hope you’re ok! I’m not in my 2ww just yet (ovulation window will be next week and 2ww after that) but didn’t want to leave you without a response. I am also on my second cycle TTC following a miscarriage at 10 weeks in December. I also think I may have endometriosis (haven’t had it formally diagnosed through a lap, but still very certain I’ve got it based on my symptoms and a family history of it) so I’m also in the same boat of worrying it’s going to take a while or that I’ll have multiple miscarriages. I’m really sorry to hear you’ve had a couple of miscarriages. How long did it take you to conceive with your miscarried pregnancy’s? Sending lots of baby dust your way and really hoping this month works out for us both or that generally it doesn’t take too long to conceive 🙏

I'm about 3 dpo (I think...), I stopped tracking as it was driving me mad.
12 months TTC after a MC at Easter last year.
Hoping to start investigations soon but I'm trying to lose some weight first as I've piled it on since the MC, mostly through self pity and eating junk...

Everyone around me is announcing pregnancies and I've never been the typical 'gets excited at the sight of babies' type, so people assume I don't want kids.

Hey @lovelyLion3, I'm 1DPO today and on my third cycle.
On my first cycle I had loads of symptoms in the 2ww and second cycle AF teased me by being 4 days late 🙈 both BFN!
We've DTD everyday this fertile window even though I've read so much advice that says every other day is fine - but thought we would make the most of the school holidays (I work in a school) and see what happens! How did you find the 2ww in your first cycle?

I'm well and truly in the TWW, 7dpo today (pretty sure anyway!) Sorry about your MCs. This is my 2nd cycle trying again after a MC in January - have previously had an ectopic as well so going for it with one tube! And I'm trying for my second. Fingers crossed for you this month! X x

@LilsJ2 our stories sound very similar too. I have symptoms of endometriosis and family history as well but docs won't investigate! Had an appointment for a scan but actually found out I was pregnant so didn't get it. And then after my LO was born they say I had 'too many normal scans' (while pregnant!?) so won't give me anymore. Nightmare. Are you trying for your first?

I’m currently 8dpo. This is our 2nd month back TTC after a miscarriage in January. Not too sure how to feel and trying not to symptom spot 😂

Is anyone going to be testing early? Hopefully lots of positives on this thread. 🤞🏼✨

Hi! Think I’m 8dpo today. Second cycle. Caught first time with DS (almost 2), but it was not to be this time! Got some FRERs coming this afternoon. Might test in the morning, even though I know it’s madness!

@Daisyrobin123 you must be some woman! Am I mental to quite enjoy the TWW because you get a wee break? Haha..X

@danielleb97 we are at very similar stages. I'm not a fan of early testing I stress myself out a bit so I'm going to wait it out. When do you plan on testing? Good luck!

@Daisyrobin123 My first cycle I also had loads of symptoms and was disappointed when AF showed. I honestly feel like it's not gonna happen this month either as we couldn't dtd on ovulation day. I am still hoping that I was covered with the days we did dtd though. I have lots of cramping but I think it may be my endometriosis. I can say that for me they never caught the endometriosis through scans. I had to have a laparoscopy to finally get the diagnosis. Fingers crossed for all of us to get our BFP soon!

How soon can we start feeling symptoms of pregnancy??

Hello can I join? I’m 1DPO today, 2nd cycle and TTC second baby. Had LOADS of cramps last cycle and was convinced I was pregnant but unfortunately was not 😔

@LilsJ2 About two cycles I think but then ended in miscarriage. So it didn't take too long but I didn't keep the pregnancies so there's that. I have a 5yr old and a 4yr old and it took about 6 cycles or so to conceive them from what I can remember. The miscarriages I wasn't trying to conceive and it happened. With my kids I was trying to conceive and it took longer.

I'm the exact same. We started TTC a year ago now and I was so obsessive in the beginning testing early & after everything that happened with the miscarriage, I have testing phobia! Too scared of the disappointment that comes with a negative. So I prefer to wait if AF shows up (or doesn't) as it feels less disappointing that way 😅

Yep definitely @danielleb97! I used to use CB digital tests too so seeing 'not pregnant' come up is horrible. We can keep each other sane while we desperately wait it out 😂

@firstbornunicorn hopefully it's a BFP for you tomorrow, my fingers are crossed. And even if it's not tomorrow it could still be in a few days time 🤞🏻

@lovelylion3 I know what you mean about feeling like it's not going to happen this month. I'm generally quite a positive person but with ttc I seem to have already set myself up for failure. I read a post the other week and the girl said she went and read some threads on the infertility pages and it really helped her get some perspective. I'm only three months in so I feel like I shouldn't be worrying yet but that's easier said than done when you're in the thick of it isn't it. I think the time when symptoms appear varies from person to person so vastly that it's hard to tell. From reading on here some people seem to think they had signs from 3DPO whilst some get none at all!

@Daisyrobin123 hello! Last time it happened straight away. I think it’ll be harder this time because I’m older and I’ve also put on weight which won’t be helping. On top of that I have an almost 2 year old so can’t exactly dtd at any given moment haha! Is this for your first pregnancy?

@orwell08 Ah I can imagine it's not easy with a 2 year old running around! Does it help keep your mind off it? I'm a teacher so when I'm at work I don't think about it so much but a couple of my 2ww's have fell in the holidays and so ttc stress takes over! Yes this would be our first. 🥰

@orwell08 snap! My LO is 2 in the Summer. Terrible twos is misleading, it's here already 😴

@minthumbugs I agree. Terrible 2's is very misleading. It's more like terrible 2's, 3's and 4's.

@Daisyrobin123 well I think we just look at him and think he’s so great we have to have another one ASAP haha! It is difficult though coz we can only really dtd when he’s asleep and most of the time we are exhausted 😂 very grateful for what we have though ☺️

@minthumbugs and @LovelyLion3 yes we must be insane signing up for more. I think my mind has blocked out the newborn memories of zero sleep and sore nipples!

@minthumbugs sorry to hear about your miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.

I started going down the route of seeing someone more specialist but then found out I was pregnant so never got round to taking investigations further and just haven’t felt like persuing it all again since the miscarriage.

It’s very encouraging to hear you’ve had one child already, I’ve got myself into a right state at times worrying that my symptoms mean it’s going to be a serious struggle to get pregnant or stay pregnant. I don’t think the miscarriage has helped with my anxiety around that! Yes I am trying for my first 😊.

@LovelyLion3 again, really encouraging to hear success stories of endometriosis and conceiving. And 6 cycles really isn’t that long (although I know each month feels like a year when you’re TTC!) so hopefully the end of this cycle brings a bfp for as many of us as possible 😊

@LilsJ2 Yes after a miscarriage I was told I might not be able to get pregnant and if I did it would be very difficult. Six cycles later I got pregnant with my now 5yr old. Then again with my now 4yr old. I've had two miscarriages since then so I am really hoping it happens soon and that it sticks.

Hope I can join. Sorry to hear of the struggles many of you are facing and to read about your miscarriages.

I’m 9DPO today and I expect my period to arrive Tuesday. I’ve been TTC baby number 1 for 13 months and I had a miscarriage in February.

We only managed to have sex once during my fertile window this cycle so I’m not feeling particularly hopeful.

I’m hoping I won’t cave and test early!
