Hi everyone... don't know if this is crazily excessive but DH and I are planning our first, and we're in a weird pre-conception stage of trying to get in good shape, get the bigger jobs in house sorted etc with a view to ttc so baby arrives between Sept-Feb, to be older in their academic year. That gives us til Jan to if we want to conceive next year! Then if no luck we'll pause and try again next year.
Is anyone else doing this?
Our to-do list is huge - main issue is we've got to turn the garage into office for DH whose company are now permanently wfh, to free up the kitchen table. We bought a major fixer-upper which we've made good diy progress on but of course you fix one thing and in doing that reveal two other problems!
In terms of ttc, we've stopped my hormonal contraception and GP has me on pre-pregnancy vitamins to get my cycle back on track. Trying to hit our 5 fruit & veg a day, and I need to get back to exercising daily... tough as I am naturally quite lazy...
It would be great to hear how other people are preparing for ttc before they get down to it!
