Absolute novice on this board so be kind and let me know if it's not the right place ...

DP and I have DS 16 months. When trying for him I fell pregnant on my 3rd cycle. Although we were actively trying we were just having regular unprotected sex and I never tracked anything.

Obviously back then we were fairly care free and had plenty of time. We now have a non sleeping toddler so we DTD a lot less.

We want to have #2 fairly close in age so I came off contraception two months ago.

I am still BF my DS and plan to continue until he weans himself / my milk supply drys up due to pregnancy... if he decides to continue to BF I'm quite happy to BF throughout.

On to my question, obviously we have less sex now, should I be tracking things a bit more carefully this time to have any hope? When is the best time to aim? My last period started around 09/04 and cleared up a couple of days ago.

It's such a big and uncertain thing this time around, I want another baby but of course am worried how it'll impact on DS and if it's the right time / not want to leave it to long and have a big age gap.

Advice and a bit of a hand hold that I'll survive with 2 please!
