I am about to do a frozen embryo transfer to try and give our 1 year old a sibling before I get too old but am nervous of post transfer and trying to take it easy whilst juggling a toddler. Last time was easier in that I could take it easy post transfer, get lots of sleep etc but this time I'll be juggling childcare although my partner will help where possible. Does anybody have experience of this and did you have success? Just worried I won't be relaxed and rested enough for it to work.

Also, we will be using a day 6 embryo, but last time it was a day 5 embryo. Does this mean our embryo isn't as good quality? Thanks

Hi OP. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with a day 6 frostie. My clinic assured me that day 5 and day 6 embryos had the same success rate - have they told you the grade of the embryo as this would mean more than whether its day 5 or day 6. Frozen transfers actually seem to have slightly better success rates than fresh.
My fresh transfer resulted in twins who are now 22 months old, so I managed the transfer, tww and pregnancy so far with two toddlers and a DH working full time so it is definitely possible. He does help with bath / bed times, lifting them in and out of their bath /cots for me though. Good luck x

Thanks so much @SamoyedFan123, that is really reassuring. I'm actually not sure of the grade but I will make sure I find out. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

P.s. @SamoyedFan123 just to add to the mix I am still breastfeeding a few times a day (had tried to stop but toddler doesn't seem quite ready) but the clinic seemed to think this was ok.
