Ttc blocked tubes

Im currently really struggling... i have one blocked tube and one swollen so im waiting for an operation to hopefully unblock... as far as im aware there is only 30% chance i will conceive naturally after this. All ive ever wanted was a family of my own and its breaking my heart. All regular ops are delayed due to covid so im in pain and feel like ive been waiting forever. Advice, and just conversation with those in a similar position welcome x

I don't have much to add but I just wanted to say that I hope you are ok. My sil is in a similar situation, waiting for an op and is then having IVF. It may well be worth while exploring those routes too?

All the best in your journey x

Look up serrapeptase. It's a natural enzyme that eats away at dead tissue in the body. A lot of women have had success using it to unblock their tubes.

@Codieellen hi thought id reply because when i was going through this i searched for someone else that had a positive outcome high and low! I had 2 blocked tubes. Only one was successfully opened..i conceived in the first cycle after my operation. Unfortunately she was stillborn at 39wks bit nothing to do with the tubes or op! I went on to conceive again 3 months later, i now have a healthy 6 year old. Heres the best bit..
8 years after my op we thought we'll give it another try to see if we can have another little miracle, i didnt have much faith because supposedly tubes close back up and theres 70% chance that they do. Im actually pregnant as I write this, we conceived again after just 2 cycles 8 years after my op!! 😁 dont loose faith yet. You might just get your miracle like we did xx

@Codieellen yes i did. All 3 times. They say the dye they put through you to check its opened properly helps too. Its been known to even help unknown infertility. I really hope you are as lucky as we are. I remember the feeling of been so hurt and down that i might never be a mum! Lots of luck to you x

I know this is an old thread but I just read this and thought you’re such a warrior for going through this! Experiencing a stillbirth must have been severely traumatic, and it’s wonderful to see that you had the courage to start trying again right away and it happened so quickly. Congratulations to you!!
